Dude, Young Frankenstein was a masterpiece.I really couldn't sit through the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Romero's Night of the Living dead. Those 2 just bored the hell out of me. Plus,I've never gotten the humor of Mel Brooks. I find him and his films SO unfunny. Spaceballs was amusing, but that's it.

Cabin in the Woods.
It's a good, fun movie and no more. It isn't genre defining and didn't tap into the zeitgeist like Scream did a decade earlier.
Absolutely, I would also add Scott Pilgrim is overrated as well.
If anything Scott Pilgrim is "over-hated," most people not even giving it a chance.
Scream.
Right! Except I feel Inception is still getting more praise than people call it overrated.I think Inception, Avatar, and Titanic have been called overrated so many times that they can't accurately be called overrated anymore. It seems like the popular opinion on those movies has shifted from "they are great" to "they are overrated." I'm sure there are others too, but those were the first that came to my mind.
Probably because it's deserving of some praise.Right! Except I feel Inception is still getting more praise than people call it overrated.
