I was watching Licence to Kill a few hours ago, and for what I believe is the first time, I recognized Grand L. Bush as the DEA agent Hawkins. Bush played Special Agent Johnson in Die Hard, and I got a kick out of recognizing him in Licence to Kill because the other Special Agent Johnson, Robert Davi, plays LTK's big villain, Sanchez.

One of the rules in Gremlins is not to feed them after 12 midnight and this was even joked about in the sequel and it made me realize that how indeed exactly would happen with the different time zones and daylight savings time, it could be 12 midnight anywhere.

Looks like the writers wrote themselves into a corner on that one.

It's cut from the script I believe, the original script states it something to do with body clock same as humans and jet lag, though they do rip on it in 2

They also explain the water has to be above freezing to affect them hence why the snow does nothing.

That's always where the defense of the prequels falters - when the supports can't agree upon which one they liked least (its because they all suck).

Yeah, they eat the dog too on screen and the town. The whole thing is they need to constantly feed. There is even a scene where a McDonald's has been attacked and all the burgers are left alone but there are dead body's everywhere.

Yeah gizmo played the stripe role in the original script, it's and interesting read they also reveal Mogwai means devil.
