Movie Stuff You Only Now Just Realized - Part 6

It isn't something I just realized, but something I often forget; Doris Day is still alive.

Every female lead in the Star Wars movies is a fair-skinned brunette. Still.

Anthony Rapp was one of the kids in Adventures in Babysitting

Liam Neeson who plays Rhas Al Gul and Colin McFarlane who plays Commissioner Loeb in Batman Begins are both in The Commuter. And the finales of both involve Liam Neeson on a train.

Somebody reminded me the other day that Andrew Shue from Melrose Place (and Elizabeth's brother) was a Cobra Kai student in the first Karate Kid movie.

I don’t remember that. I know Steve McQueen’s son was one.

yeah it says on IMDB he is a Cobra Kai but uncredited

Growing up, I’ve always thought of Seinfeld and Friends as two separate universes that never criss-crossed into each other. Well, I just saw the Friends episode where Jason Alexander guest stars. This is like if Christian Bale showed up in the next Avengers.

Jared Harris has a bit part as a British Lieutenant early in The Last of the Mohicans (1992).

Anthony Hopkins played Pablo Picasso in the 1996 film Surviving Picasso
Now Antonio Banderas is playing Picasso in the new NatGeo miniseries "Genius."

You either die a Zorro, or you live long enough to see yourself become Picasso.
Nonononononononononon

One went from Picasso to Zorro, and the other one for Zorro to Picasso.
So they are becoming the same person? Or more likely Zorro and Picasso have always been the same person.
Painter by day, Swordsman by night.

Never saw it, I think through Phoebe (actress playing herself and her twin) they crossed over with another show Mad About You, making those a "shared universe", but does Jason Alexander play George Costanza or any relation to him in the Friends ep?
If not, they are still -"two separate universes".

As to your "This is like if Christian Bale..." example.
Again unless he's playing Batman, it would still be a "seprate universe".

Or I mean you are just maybe using the wrong term.?
Growing up, I’ve always thought of Seinfeld and Friends as two separate universes
Since they are still separate universe.
Or you just mean there are the same actors in both, that seems pretty common.
I think the woman playing Monica was also on Seinfeld?

LOL Don't even watch these shows, just the term seemed off, and I went totall ;nd allert!

I think he means that the actors never crossed over into the other shows.

Jason Alexander did a guest star role on Friends after Seinfeld ended but did not play George Constanza.

Funny thing is back when Friends, Mad About You, and Seinfeld were all on the same time, NBC did a "blackout stunt" where a blackout caused on Mad About You carried over into the other Thursday night shows EXCEPT for Seinfeld.

Shawn Doyle and Elizabeth Mitchell were both in Frequency. They recently reunited on TV on The Expanse.

Toy Story 2, Finding Dory, and Secret Life of Pets all have third acts where the lead characters have to work together to drive a car.

I just realized that between Captain Marvel, Avengers 4, Aladdin, Toy Story 4, the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel (though that one doesn't count as much because Sony has a stake in it too), The Lion King, Frozen 2 and Star Wars Episode IX, Disney could very well have a $9-$10 billion dollar year in 2019.

That there were children on Cloud City in a scene in The Empire Strikes Back

In the original Superman, Clark and Lois don't work together very much. They don't even talk about Lex at all, I don't think. More attention is given to the love story than their work dynamic.

I guess some of that was saved for II, but when Lex follows the Zoners into the Daily Planet, I think that's the first time Lois says Luthor's name in any context.

Upon rewatching Scream 2 it’s always interesting that you never see Neve or Laurie share any scenes until the reveal of her as Billy’s mother. Makes sense obviously because she would have recognized her but it’s just something I didn’t pay no attention to until recently.

Mike Myers did zero movies between Wayne's World 2 and Austin Powers. No cameos, no TV appearances. He married his first wife around that time, so I guess he took time off for that. Didn't realize Austin was his comeback.

Pitt and Freeman walk down the 700 block in their first scene together.

Kurt Russell and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were both in Sky High and Grindouse presents Death Proof

The Fifth Element:

- Mathieu Kassovitz has a bit part as a mugger

- Al Matthews (Sgt. Apone in Aliens) is one of the President's Generals

Bryce Dallas Howard and James Cromwell are both in Spider Man 3 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
