This isn't movie related (although they've made movies, so...) but I was watching some Three Stooges shorts and I realized that Larry doesn't often have much screen time with Curly or Shemp. Is like Moe, Moe, Moe.

With a rebel yell?

Christian Bale & Kristen Bell

When you've got a pillow over your ear, the names sound the same on TV.

In the dark knight rises after bruce/selina kiss, one always leaves the other
after the first kiss, selina leaves bruce, and after the second one bruce leaves her

Both Benjamin Linus and Roger Linus from Lost, appear in The Monster Squad.

More TV related but I found out that Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad and Malcolm In The Middle did a few anime voiceover work in the 90's such as Macross Plus and Eagle Rider of which was another version of Battle Of The Planets which in itself was the dubbed version of Gatchaman.
He also did voiceover work for two episodes of the original 'Power Rangers,' providing the voices of some of the monsters! I bet he's pretty embarassed of that now.

Mary McDonnell played the First Lady in Independance Day...a movie about aliens trying to wipe out humanity

She also played President Laura Roslin in Battlestar Galactica...a series about cylons trying to wipe out humanity

In The Dark Knight Rises the place where Bruce is staking out Selina's apartment is next to a theater called The Palace which is a famous Los Angeles landmark probably better known for being in Michael Jackson's Thriller video.

How ironic that in Fight Club, the two main characters explain the process of a change over for film projectors and now David Fincher exclusively uses digital, which does not require a change over.

The guy's prediction on Venkman's psychic show at the beginning of Ghostbusters 2 about the world ending on New Years Eve was actually very close to being true.

I never realized he was the same guy that was in the Transformer movies (not that I like to dwell on them too much).

Minnie Driver was in GoldenEye as Zurkovsy's karaoke singing mistress. :wow:

In Jaws, during the iconic scene where Hooper and Quint compare battle scars, Brody silently eyes a scar on his abdomen and keeps it to himself.

Look familiar?

That was the first thing I noticed when I saw it

I'd say that's a pretty typical hollywood poster. I know I've seen others with the protagonist standing on the rooftops with a edgy backdrop.

Alan Tudyk is in 'Hearts in Atlantis.'

I may have realized this, but after thinking about it, there's another thing The Avengers made work perfectly, and it's the relation between the different avengers and Loki. Too many character but somehow they've managed to create scenes -that don't feel forced- for each of them:

Stark confronting Loki second before the final battle.
Black Widow in the interrogation room.
Hawkeye as his sidekick for most of the movie.
Loki giving Banner 'the look' and unleashing the Hulk (and then, smashing him)
A couple of scenes between Loki and, of course, his 'brother' Thor
Cap and Loki talking and fighting in Germany.

It may seem 'normal' when you first watch the movie, but it's a perfectly articulated script that uses every single character and makes them interact.

Eh, doesn't impress me much. :o
