Movie Stuff You Only Now Just Realized - Part 2

A quick one, maybe already referenced. In "Following", Chris Nolan's first film, on the door of The Young Man's apartment there is a Batman emblem sticker.

I just realized this now because I saw the actor over the weekend at a convention but in Superman II when the Phantom Zone villians are attacking Houston the reporter who is covering the news is none other than Admiral Motti who's getting a force choke hold from Darth Vader in Star Wars A New Hope.

Ioan Gruffudd ( Mr Fantastic ) has a small role in Titanic.

I think the FF movies are average. Nothing special, but nothing awful. The best parts of those movies are Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, Micheal Chiklis as The Thing, and the dynamic between them.

I tried watching the first one last week and turned it off after about half an hour. It just doesn't hold up for me anymore.

How ironic that in Fight Club, the two main characters explain the process of a change over for film projectors and now David Fincher exclusively uses digital, which does not require a change over.

Not nearly as ironic as Hugo, a film championing film history and the importance of film preservation being the movie in which Martin Scorsese started using digital for the first time, and after which he's stated he's working exclusively in digital for economic reasons.

I saw Christian Bale last night in Shaft. I didn't remember he was in that movie.

Yeah I just can't get into the FF and I don't care how much fanboys swear that the Lee/Kirby run is monumental, they suck and that's the truth.

I'm sure the tens of thousands of people who've read the FF from the early sixties until now will thank you for sorting that out for them.

It still baffles me that there's a character named Porkins in star wars. It's like 'o, what should we name this character, oh? the actor is heavy set? Is Fatty too on the nose? How about Porkins?'

Although no where near as offense.

Darth Vader is Luke's Father.
Vader is the dutch word for father.

Spider-Man (Tobey) and Iron Man (Downey Jr.) had sex in a movie!

Gilderoy lockhart's theme very closely resembles Bach's "Harpsichord Concerto No.1 in D Minor"

Both Blythe Danner and Barbra Streisand work in Meet The Fockers and The Prince of Tides.

Ooh, scratch that, Iron Man and Spidey got together in two movies then.

Were you talking about Wonderboys at first? I have never seen that. Just had to look up what else the two of them had been in together.
