I just found out about a month ago that the same actor who played Dr Erik Selvig is the real life father of the hottie Alexander Skarsgard in True Blood who also doesn't mind taking his clothes off.
He has another son (Alexander's brother) named Gustav. You can see him on the show 'Vikings' where he plays the fabulous Floki.

He's awesome.

True. Jack Nicholson's Joker is TDK's Joker's father. That explains the makeup.

If only he stuck the blade in his and her mouth though :hehe:

Other than that, great stuff :funny:

I wonder since Nolan also put a little nod to Casey Affleck's character in Interstellar, his son that died in that movie was named Jesse, Casey also played Robert Ford in the Jesse James movie where he killed him too :funny: So I wonder if Nolan was having some fun with one of the Joker stories being told in TDK.

The actor who plays Dr. Erik Selvig in the MCU was in Deep Blue Sea,where he also played a scientist

Oh yeah, if I remember correctly he gets a surprise attack from one of the sharks :oldrazz:

And Victoria Hand. Saffron Burrows plays Victoria Hand. She's in it too. So that's Punisher, Fury, Hand, and Selvig.

Fury should remind us how this Selvig guy isn't a genius since he's prone to peeing into the wind.

Bradley Cooper plays a gay character and has a sex scene in Wet Hot American Summer,I had seen the movie when it was kinda new but he wasn't Bradley Cooper to me yet and so I forgot he was in it when I saw the movie last night.

Nothing wrong with being gay but I just completely forgot about him in it and his character

Not new but when I was a kid I thought Luke's hand somehow magically transformed into Vader's at the end of ROTJ. The way he looks at it its like he is shocked to see it.

It wasn't until I saw the SE in theaters that all of a sudden I realized it was just a callback to the mechanical hand he already has.

^ YES! Me too! I thought that if Luke continued to dismember Vader... say if he cut off his leg next, then Luke's leg would turn into Vaders, and that's how Luke would take his father's place at the Emperor's side. :funny:

It didn't help that I accidentally saw RotJ before ESB.

This is something I already knew but many people may have forgotten this but in Terminator 2 the phrase "hasta la vista, baby" actually came from two songs from the 1980's, namely Jody Watley's "Looking for a new love" and Tone Loc's "Wild Thing".

I was watching 21 Jump Street again last night and when they taste the drug for the first time, Tatum says that it has some Ranch Doritos taste. 2 minutes later the coach appears eating Ranch Doritos. So obvious it was him but I never noticed.

With all the news about Harry Shearer leaving "The Simpsons", I came across something I never knew before. He was in "Star Wars". He dubbed over one of the Imperial Officers, but you can clearly tell it's him when you hear it. It's this guy, the one who informs Vader that there's nobody onboard the Millennium Falcon after the tractor beam pulls it into the Death Star.

Just learned that Erich Von Stroheim and Tod Browning were ADs on D.W.Griffith's "Intolerance."

Speaking of Stellan Skarsgard, he plays a killer of women in The American version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I find it funny because what's the first scene of Thor? Him in the desert alone with two women.

Was rewatching Cap 2 and noticed that the analyst threatened by Rumlow to launch the carriers was in Age of Ultron in the end as well. Forgot about him but he did look slightly familiar at first.

Pretty sure that guy played young Austin Powers in Goldmember too.
