Honestly I hate when actors are all "ZOMG, SPADAHMAYN!", as if they have something to prove.As good a reason as any, I suppose. I don't think anyone expected Portman to geek out and be all, "OMG, are you kidding? It's THOR! I'm such a huge fan!"![]()

Nats answer is refreshing.
It's not like Jane really requires a lot of research. She's pretty normal. Plus, given that most of her characterization comes from the '60s, when all comic book supporting women were weak milksops who existed primarily to be damsels in distress, her character is probably going to be much different in the film anyway.This is Natalie Portman, not only has she read the comics, she's probably studied actual Norse Mythology. She's a dedicated lass.
