You presented a lot of interesting stuff to support the theory, but I also think there's a number of things that negate it as well, we'll see what happens but I think it would be a deathnote for the show, which would be a shame as the show is hitting a good run after Redemption which was pretty strong and now Red vs Kaplan.

There was a quote from one of the showrunners in one of the iterations of this thread where he was asked if they were ever going to reveal Red's and Liz's true relationship, and the reply was to the effect of: "if we did that, the show would be over."

The Red is Katerina theory is so damn fascinating and I'm impressed at the evidence presented to support it. I'm not for or against it personally but I still think it's too out there for the creators to think about.

After the "fire" Red changed betraying his country, becoming criminal and leaving his wife. Side note I don't know if this is related but they made a big deal about Red's fingerprints not matching what's on file. Or the prints they got from the box. I assume he touched it but somehow his prints don't match, like you know he a different person.

In the pilot episode they ran his finger prints, matched known tattoos to confirm his identity. He has someone inside to cover his tracks when needed.

they know hes victim om mental manipulation. he'll be back. it's his buddy Gale I'm worried about. someone should just read him in . yeah he'll be ticked for a bit but once he get the details of the cabal hehe oh man...... red will be the last of his worries. It doesn't me he'll like Red . but he won't ok with what really been going on the whole time with the crime world being as nasty as it is that he didn't know about alot of it or the current secretary of state is apart of it. .

According to Deadline's Bubble Watch,
The Blacklist is currently in renewal negotiations.

Sadly, the same cannot be said for Blacklist: Redemption.
It is expected to be cancelled.

That's a shame . There's a lot going on that needs to be resolved there. but when you think about it all. If you were in tom's shoe's you'd want nothing to do with that family after seeing how things are.

You'd want to go back to your wife and kid.

They could probably resolve the Blacklist: Redemption stuff in a 2 part arc on The Blacklist.

Shame about Redemption... I actually like their group and tone much more than Blacklist lately (although the last 2 eps of Blacklist have been great).

same,they all had great chemistry with each other.Seems kinda odd for the show runners to leave the ending on a cliffhanger like that,especially if they were uncertain if the show would be cancelled or not.

I think it was just common standard fare which when a season ends, they leave it on cliff hanger cause they were Expecting to have more of a series.

So it's as chamber music said they will have to resolve it later in the black list it's self. if there isn't any sudden fan push to save it and let the story end on it's own as series. ether way the actor that plays tom said his character was still gonna in the former series if his own show went on. regardless. he told this to both etalk in canada and entertainment tonight.

at most they need'it resolved NBC is a bit weird with thing especially lately.

but tthom need place work wise and I wouldn't mind him running that company of his parents and running out source operative's for the Fbi's black operations task force Felicity .
they shown this between the cia aon other show like covert affairs with piper parabo in her last season . it can work here too.

if they weirdly have that both his parents kill each other in the end that is.

the way thing are going it'll be hard to say. lol seriously some one need's to read gale in. It's them not telling him what's really going down with his silent steady rage of about to snap that he's creating more chaos.

oh boy if he goes Rogue after he know every thing fine but I have feeling if he know and is told to stand down and made part of the task force he see there's worse then Reddington how much deeper it all goes like the sec of state her self .
