NBC's ''Timeless''

You have to think between Benedict Arnold and Rittenhouse both getting killed this would cause major issues in the timeline(even to the point that somebody's grand parents may never have met so they don't exist in the future society).

that's how we lost Lucy's sister after the Hindenberg. Her parents never met

Garcia Flynn has fast become one of my favourite characters to follow on TV. Guy can do the most despicable acts, but then in equal measure has such an inherent decency to him that makes him impossible to hate.

Goran Visnjic is good at playing characters like that. I remember him from ER where he did some questionable things too, but you still were on his side.
Ironically his wife and children being killed also provided his motivation for becoming who he was in that series too.

We'll soon find out that his wife and child being killed was his motivation for becoming an actor too.

Watched the pilot months ago..and it didn't grab me. Then i binged eps 2-8 a week ago and now i'm hooked.

What are the rules on time travel in this show as to why Logan can't go back and save his wife? I remember Flynn briefly said to him about travelling to points in time that they were apart of, or something….

trying to find the long version of that song from the Timeless promo I posted a few posts back, oh and note the Lucy avatar/title ;).

something about they shouldn't go to a time where they exist for fear that they will see themself if i recall

The short answer is to avoid creating a time paradox where they see themselves where previously they had not encountered their future selves.

Guaranteed this will happen by either this season's end or somewhere in the next season.

Thanks guys…

Have a feeling that the death of Logan's wife has someting to do with Rittenhouse at this point.

Jim Beaver and Misha in the show...

Good one tonight. Though with as many things that change during each trip, I'm surprised that only the first episode led to sweeping changes in regards to the characters' present (Lucy's sister being erased). You'd think some of this stuff would affect the lives of the characters in some way.

I loved the lack of restraint this episode, sure lets get Harry Houdini to break into the H.H. Holmes murder hotel. Loved it.

Who else wished that the team had found a way to bring Harry Houdini back?

I think eventually someone historical will join them. Maybe Amelia Earhart, or someone elso who famously disappeared.

They could've done with him on the team.

And I agree more should change, sometimes even around them.

What's to stop Flynn kidnapping Lucy again?

I wonder if Wyatt will go back to kill his wife's murderer's parents. Is Flynn even telling the truth?

It would be ironic if they were Rittenhouse and that's why Flynn wants them dead.

That's what I was thinking. That maybe Flynn has his own agenda, which is why he plants the suggestion for Wyatt to engage in murdering parents like Flynn was going to murder the Rittenhouse boy.

Also, they didn't seem to bothered or hesitant about changing history by shooting HH Holmes dead. It's like they all decided the world would be better off without him, given what he did to them, what he did to all the other victims and what he could do etc. Before, Lucy at least would've wanted to protect history more.

Well there was that clip of Amelia Earhart in the Timeless promo.

In Star Trek: Voyager, at the end of the first season, they came across Amelia Earhart as well. She was said to have been kidnapped by aliens, along with other people from 1937.

Maybe Amelia Earhart hasn't disappeared in the Timeless timeline, but if she does come back in the time ship, then history would record she mysteriously disappeared. But is the timeship able to fit more than three people? I know Flynn's seems to, but not sure about the heroes' one. They should upgrade it so that they don't have to recharge for so long, that is, if they can find a compatible fuel source.

I hope this show isn't cancelled. I've enjoyed watching it.

dammit, I always HATE when things maybe start to go south... I hope it turns out for the best, because I'm REALLY enjoying this show a LOT...

this last one with the world's fair was pretty interesting. i've of course heard of the world's fair, but i'd never heard of H.H. Holmes, so i researched him a little. crazy stuff

anyways, i do really like this show, i've lost track of the time since they started :rimshot:, but i'm curious how things are going in their real lives away from the time machine. we haven't really seen rufus or wyatt away from the job, but we know Lucy's life is a mess, so i do hope they come back to that a little bit.
