I know who he is.
For the sake of the thread, let's move this mindless banter elsewhere.
Or the barking kid from Road Warrior will get us.
Thanks, guys!
i'd say that Christians have gotten the point right for a long time, its just that an outspoken minority gets all the airtimeStripes references!
I liked it!
It seems like the New Christians should take over for the old ones. As I said before this thread devolved into the old classics of evolution/homosexuality debating, I would finally shut up about religion because New Christians seem to really understand what the point was of the bible and Jesus' teachings.
...could have something to do with the documented fact that we begin life as females? The nipples appear before sexual differentiation occurs (that is, before the sex chromosomes take full effect). They're useless for men; why would god give them to the male fetus at fourteen months?

Yes, Superhobo...at one point, you had a (non-functional, non-developed) vagina. Deal with it.![]()
You say I'm not arguing correctly and you find offence in that? I stated awhile ago that this is how 'I' argue in this thread. If you don't like you, you don't have to reply to me.If you're not going to argue correctly, then I take that as disrespect toward me and find offense in your statements.
And of course, intelligent falling is the answer you are demanding out of me, even though you are trying to prove a positive claim. God decides what falls and what ascends according to His Will. That's proven 100% over gravity's circumstantial evidence.
Saying that something is not 100% proven and trying to get people to agree with it, means that is your level of acceptance and thus should be your base over everything. Unless you have a bias that you need to own up to that is clouding your judgment on the issue.
And as I have just said. Intelligent falling has been proven 99.9% of the time and overrules anything that science has come up with. Prove gravity 100%.
Again with the previous thread that has been removed and so can no longer be checked. And did you really just say that....
You did. Wow.
And you still believe in something that may not be but disregard that.Of course not. That's because creationism's argument is: that's the way it is because God made it so. It's not surprising that somebody that subscribes to that mantra would blatantly discard any evidence that indicated otherwise, regardless of how convincing it is.

As for God determining what falls and not, how about this, God is using gravity to things he determines should fall.![]()
And yes, I can say that I need evolution to be 100% correct. Based upon the Bible's errorless ways, personal spiritual experiences, and especially Bible prophecy, I've come to the understanding that the Bible is trustworthy and therefore I believe in the creation account 99.9% (I'd say the 100 but I just need that one thing to get me there). To beat that, you need 100%, my friend. If the missing link is found and evolution becomes the 'fact' as to how man got here (from the beginning of life on earth), then get back to me.
The, "missing link," is really a misnomer. The truth is there were several hominid forms that represent transitional forms, all, "missing links." I've been over this with you before; do you know how hard it is to actually form a fossil? How unlikely it is? How few fossils there are given the billions upon billions of organisms that have inhabited the earth? You say I'm not arguing correctly and you find offence in that? I stated awhile ago that this is how 'I' argue in this thread. If you don't like you, you don't have to reply to me.

Then again, the only scientific discussion that mattered (why I took to this discussion) is whether or not evolution was why man came to be from the beginning of life. I accepted many other points you guys made but you seem to look with a blind eye at it which is normal cause it fustrates you that I don't accept evolution to the extent you do.I can't believe I'm saying this...but I have to come to rodhulk's defense on ONE thing here:
Gravity is scientific LAW...it's understood well enough that it's been condensed into a mathematical formula (Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation) and can be predicted with great accuracy.
HOWEVER: the idea that this arbitrary distinction somehow validates the phenomenon of gravity any more than the theory of evolution is absolutely ridiculous, and for that, rodhulk is in error. In fact, with all of the observation that's already been recorded/reported (as Bill and others have pointed out), it's a wonder at all that evolution hasn't been made into scientific law as it is.
rodhulk makes it pretty clear that he can't participate in a scientific discussion simply due to the fact that he can't use science to back his argument. He turns to the bible, or the line of reasoning that evolution can't be real simply because God says so. So, really, what's the point?

You're asking for something that's likely to never happen. So whatever. Oh, and as for the Bible's errorless ways...I've never seen a rabbit chew cud. They eat their own ****, but they have no cud to speak of.
There goes that.
I believe something that is backed by evidence and observation. You believe in something because a book told you to.And you still believe in something that may not be but disregard that.
The bible has no place in a scientific debate. Period. Evolution is an ongoing scientific debate. Bringing in the bible only hurts your argument. Then again, the only scientific discussion that mattered (why I took to this discussion) is whether or not evolution was why man came to be from the beginning of life. I accepted many other points you guys made but you seem to look with a blind eye at it which is normal cause it fustrates you that I don't accept evolution to the extent you do.
And really, any misunderstanding I may have had in science you guys more than made up for it from our biblical discussions.
Does the sun go around the Earth?
Can you make a zebra with two mating horses and a striped pole?
Can you get leprosy on your clothes or house?
Are bats birds?
Do rabbits chew cud?
So, you're admitting that evolution (the way I seek it) may never be proven! The, "missing link," is really a misnomer. The truth is there were several hominid forms that represent transitional forms, all, "missing links." I've been over this with you before; do you know how hard it is to actually form a fossil? That was a dark day for Copernicus.
"Hey.. hey guys; I think the earth isn't the center of the universe. I think we revolve around the sun, and not the other way around."
"You dare speak of these things. Banish him!"
"Jesus said something about compassion, didn't he?"
