Well, let's not throw out the baby with the bath water. Just because the book has its faults doesn't mean there isn't wisdom to be had within or that it should be thrown out in its entirety.That's terrible logic. It's not even logic. It's like logic's disowned, crack-addicted baby.

It's been my experience that (on this board at least) the literalists are the ones who condemn others most easily, yes.Getting back to the main topic: is that the problem? Do literalists have more of the Us vs. Them mentality that the author is describing?
