New Ideas For Thor Director

Hiya mate! :)

My own personal preference is for Guillermo del Toro.

What he did with Hellboy on that Budget was nothing short of astonishing. Blade 2 also looks the 'richest' of the Blade movies by far.

He definately gets the most out of his production budgets.

If I have to choose one of those four, I choose Zack Snyder.

good choice old friend, Pan's Labyrinth looks really good too.

1. We'll have to see how it turns out but there is a movie called Pathfinder coming out. Has very close themes to 'Thor'. I think if its done well, the director, Marcus Nispel might be the front runner.

2. John McTiernan filmed a movie '13th Warrior' a few years back with Antonio Banderas on a similar theme. It wasn't bad, he might be a good 2nd choice.

Del Toro, Snyder, Peter Jackon or Michael Bay. Oh yeah, I don't know his name but the guy who directed "Troy".

I thought about Marcus Nispel. But I wanted to list people never mentioned before.

Based on the footage I've seen of 300, I think Zack Snyder would be good.

I have to agree with you 100%. If Thor is to take place in Asgard, this has to be the director to do it. Just imagine what it could look and feel like. Most or all of the previous Marvel movies wouldn't come close.

Is it really necessary to have to wait until 2009 or 2010 for the f'n film though?

Snyder is going to do "The Watchmen" so my picks are Peter Jackson, Ridley Scott, or Wolfgang Petersen.

Shamalan's next film is adaopting the Nikelodeon cartoon Avatar to live action on the big screen.
