I never **** on Bay. I loved TF despite how bad I know they are, but this is a project that just sounds horrible from the get go.

Jonathan Liebesman is a pretty terrible director with a string of movies that haven't been received well. I hate no faith in this guy.

He's a decent director that tends to take on crappy movies. Everything I've heard about Wrath of the Titans is that it's shot well, but the script is terrible. Everything hinges on the script for this movie.

But what were you expecting with the Turtles? Christopher Nolan? I mean come on.

Some of us were fans growing up. I love the original live action film and have been hoping we'd see them back in that form again some day. Also
there have been numerous things over the years such as different cartoons , art , comics , and the cgi film that keep them somewhat relevant.

I could never understand people's hate for Bay's Transformers movies, I always saw them as a fun action fest, until now. I see what he's could potentially do to a franchise I love and grew up with, now I understand how those fans of the Transformers franchise felt.

The 80s cartoon is in my DNA. And I also absolutely loved the first two live-action films when I was a kid. Today I still think the first one is great and one of the best comic-book movies ever and I also enjoy the second one. Add to that as a kid I loved the first NES TMNT game and had lot of merchandise with t-shirts, action-figures and such and you get a huge TMNT-fanboy still to this day

In my grown up years I have also read and appreciated the original TMNT comic-books from Laird and Eastman.

From where I'm sitting he and his director have been digging themselves out of the grave his initial comments put him in. I've heard nothing but good things since then for the most part.
