No matter what, this next film can't be any worse then most of the movies that came before. And the Revenue will speak on that.

That being said I'm curious to see this new directors week next week.

They look the same as the classic look in the new show, except just more blocky.

I liked all the designs much better in the 2007 cgi cartoon movie. I can understand the new TMNT shows artists wanting to give the new show its own individual look but they should have spent a little more time on the drawing board.

They also changed Mikey and Donnys weapons and gave thm blades

I actually really like this one. It manages to give a beak while maintaining a faithfulness to the classic look. Not sure I'd spend so much time on scales just for the sake of realism... it ends up looking more than a bit creepy.

That's one of the best models I've seen for the design so far.

I am not scared...I am a fan of the 80's designs and the movie designs...I think people need to be prepared for them not looking exactly like the cartoons

I don't think they will be that much different. They'll want to make them seem likeable and a radical departure seems unlikely.

I honestly didn't really get all the hate for the look for TF..I liked them all except BumbleBees face besides his battle face which was dope

I was actually impressed with the look of Bay's Transformers.

Prime, Bumbe bee and some of the auto bots looked good while the others we're overly designed (which is the problem with modern character design) or spiky.

The weird thing is that I agree with you about the designs: I prefer these over the Imagi designs.

Probably my favorite choice as far as a new look for the turtles

Especially raph

I actually could accept a design like this. This is reminiscent of the one in that fan film posted a few pages back. That looks acceptable to me. Still identifiable to the classic look we're familiar with, but a more menacing updated look.

I don't like Donatello's look, and Leonardo's mask should look more like Michelangelo's. Otherwise, it's a good look.

What I do like about the masks are the slight variations of the shapes right above their noses.

I wonder which Aerosmith songs Bay will throw in with the movie. Let's make a poll.

None of the previous platinum dunes films have had....of forget it. I suspect the trailer will have rock music, everything else seems to these days.

"Paramount marketing changed the name. They made the title simple. The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie. This script is being developed by two very smart writers, with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles. They care VERY MUCH about making this film for the fans. Everyone on this team cares about the fans. Just give them a chance. Jonathan the director, is a major fan of the whole franchise. HE'S NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN.
MICHAEL"

I thnk they should all start out Red...then later on have like April give them colored ones so she can tell them apart except raph says he wants to keep his and not be like his brothers

 Have April flub the names a couple of times and have Mikey ask if they all look alike to her, April could nod her head and all of the turtles could look at each other muttering "Yeah kinda" Mikey could say he's the pretty one. The next day April can come back with four masks. Blue, Purple, Orange and Light Blue. Leo, Donny, and Mikey take their iconic colors. Raph takes one look at the Light Blue and says "No thanks." and keeps with Red.

BTW, to anyone who read the IDW comic: How is it?

Like the design.
Mikey looks a little Voldemorty with those nose slits.

The idea of April having them use different colored bandanas because she mistakes them for one another is really awesome.

Michael Bay Confirms Live-Action TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Movie Will Be Called “NINJA TURTLES”; Characters to Still Act Like Teens

Last week, producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman had to wade through the overblown reaction to making the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the upcoming live-action movie originate from an “alien race” even though that’s where the infamous ooze comes from in the original comics. Then a new spat came about from the rumor that the live-action film would simply be called “Ninja Turtles“. On his official website, Bay has confirmed the new title, and Paramount dropped the “teenage” and the “mutant” for simplicity (read: marketing). He also added that “The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers.”
I don’t mind the title change. However, it does seem like they’re moving away from making the characters teenagers. It looks like the Turtles will be adults who “act like teenagers.” You know, like the adults who are losing their **** over a title change. Hit the jump for Bay’s full quote. Ninja Turtles is set to open on December 25, 2013.

Did they have to use the worst picture of the Turtles? I still try to forget the 3rd movie.

I don't have the strength to whine anymore so Something Something Ninja Turtles is fine.

I'm surprised that anyone still even cares enough about the Ninja Turtles to complain about any changes really.

Ninja Turtles is a good name. I have no qualms about it :)
