as would i
Or since this is a new age the turtles are in....how about she works as a scientist and has a Youtube show or Blog where she reports news
Eh. I find it annoying when they try to put new age stuff in movies.
"Look, it's so funny-if everyone was such a die-hard fan, they would know that the TCRI canisters where the ooze comes from. That is alien ooze. Now I'm not saying what Michael said is exactly what the movie is, because we're sitting in a room now figuring everything out."
The Utroms were stranded on Earth and interacted with humans through the company, T.C.R.I.. They are responsible for creating and losing the canister of mutagen that transformed Splinter and the Turtles. When they were stranded, the Utroms contacted their homeworld. They were ordered to stay and observe humanity. Eventually, they were forced to leave Earth by teleporting to another world. They later returned and opened official relations with humans and other alien races.
What? New Age? This is our Age...present time all that is going on..this is the nterent age....everyone in connected to the web....we are on youtube we are on various blog sites if april were alive today she would have a facebook and twitter and connected to the web via her iPhone/Andiod/Blackberry/Tablet/laptop..
If only she were given a chance, I would love to see Cassidy Freeman play April O'neil. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2336905/
Maybe Gemma Arterton could pull it off. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2605345/
t:Here's an article from io9 with director Jonathan Liebesman speaking out on the recent the controversy. A very interesting part in particular:
And what he said matches up with this:

Now, could this mean that Michael Bay saying the "alien race" thing was premature, and that they're possibly going with "alien ooze" angle?
Who knows at this point, but it's definitely interesting to speculate.
I'm not saying she needs to be tweeng and FBing 24/7....what I'm saying is she could be an Internet reporter.....these days not many people get their news from TV...they get it from online...I dunno...just seems like a new approach that could work
fringe does product placement without going overboard
Seems too much like a gimmick.
She should just be a regular reporter from a crappy network.
Kinda like...
