Yeah, but that's it. They'd just be similar animals. Different characters with different backgrounds. Besides all this is likely moot since I highly doubt Usagi and co. will be appearing in any of these films.

Also, there's always the possibility of Krang and/or Shredder making an army of all kinds of anthropomorphic animals.

This is a silly discussion and while I know very little of Usagi (besides seeing the character cameos in the various TMNT cartoons) so you're probably valid but if they did put a rhino and a hog in a TMNT, automatically our subconscious will connect them to Bebop and Rocksteady. No matter what.

In that case, if they have mutant henchmen, just make them Bebop and Rocksteady anyway; change them up with a new backstory or just update them like in the IDW comics.

Well, for me I wouldn't think of them as stand-ins if they weren't a pair of goons like what happened with Tokka and Rahzar.

If there were an army, I can see Bepop and Rocksteady being generals or whatever title they chose to give them.

i'm confused, why on earth wouldn't you see it in the theater?

not really jacked for the new spiderman, i am finding it hard to get over the costume design

i like everything the casting the story they are going with the colors of the suit but the design itself is IMO terrible and the fact that the shooters flash red when he fires them is annoying to me

and on top of all that i am not a big theater goer, to be honest i am not going to see tdkr in theaters either i am waiting for it to be on blu-ray

Why in the world is everyone still going on about the alien thing? Get over it, already. I thought that garbage was kind of already debunked through the recent interviews with Jonathan Liebesman? Maybe he didn't flat out debunk it and say "they won't be aliens", but the impression that I got from what he said was that the ooze from TCRI was alien, but the TMNT would be the same characters the fans have always loved.
