Well she didn't win an oscar in Transformers but look how successful that movie was

Your missing the point. Fox's name comes up all the time when Bay is attached to something. It's become a running gag on the internet to suggest her for a role in a Bay film. It's safe. Platinum Dunes has history with Megan.

I don't see what's the problem with that... there are many director & actor pairs in cinema history. (scorsese+dicaprio etc.)

Who said there was a problem? I'm just saying it's not inspired.

Ok, I'll settle for uninspired.

Perhaps no other female actress wants to work with (for) Bay ever since Fox spilled the beans on his unpleasant directing style.

This is not Bay's movie, any more than Transformers was a Spielberg movie or Man of Steel was a Nolan movie. Bay and Platinum Dunes are bringing production value and a few cast/crew regulars, but Liebesman is the one running the show. I will say this for him, the tunnel vision of the Internet fanboys will shield him from criticism when the movie's released, but he'll get all the praise since no one is going to want to give any to Bay out of spite.

:whatever:

Or they could just hate the movie anyway since it raped their childhood

I'm going to give it a chance.

I'm going to give it a chance.

Me too.

The reactions of those who visited the set, as well as what I stated before, actually has me excited.

Funnily enough, it was the script that soured everyone on this that got me on board.

Let me know if you guys are interested in reading it. I'd love to see some other opinions.

Bay will probably get the credit regardedless.

I am really beginning to believe that people don't know Liebesman is directing this.

Or rather, that Bay ISN'T directing this.

Liebesman is going to be completely overshadowed here. Bay is the face of this movie.

If it fails, he should be happy to know that most fanboys will be gunning for Bay.

Please let Sachs be possessed by the spirit of The Shredder or something.

This. I'm willing to accept this, the reincarnation route, or worst case scenario, a variation on the Ch'rell story.

My money is on the reincarnation route.

Fichtner, in my opinion, would've been better as Baxter Stockman, Bishop, or Rat King like many suspected him to be. I just can't get over the name change. I would've been fine with his face never being shown and just him doing the voice and movements with his name still being Oroku Saki, but by being Eric Sachs is a little hard to swallow.

The same would be if it turns out Eric Sacks is an Utrom or a reincarnation of the old Shredder. It's a bit tough to accept as a fan.

In the script, did Shredder have his armor or was he a mutant with spikes covering him? I fear with Fichtner saying, he'll "evolve" it worries the hell out of me.

The route I would go with this is Shredder traveled to America under orders from The Foot and received plastic surgery as well as changing his name to Eric sachs to blend in as a white man. He joins the military and quickly rises in ranking through training and being able to influence others. He secretly trains other soldiers in the way of The Foot clan and steals military weaponry. By the end of the movie he reveals himself as The Shredder and dons the armor. THAT I could accept but him mutating into a Shredder creature would be stupid.

He was an alien that had spikes protrude through his fake skin.

That would be awfuly :ninja: to do. I like it.

That was in the first draft that Michael Bay says they're not using, but from the looks of things there's a lot that they kept from the old script and I can't imagine Shredder being much different. Especially with the actor himself claiming that his character "goes through changes."

That can mean anything.

Stop trying to twist it to mean what you want/think it does.

Easy there. Like you said, it can mean anything. And a mutating Shredder is just one of the possibilities. A possibility that is unfortunately not far-fetched.
