I heard Kinberg hated the first cut due to the lack of action/horror or something like that. He wanted to reshoot it himself. He and Boone didnt like each other. The studio wanted a different movie and Boone wanted his vision. Not sure if true, but an insider i know said this was true. Still take it with a grain of salt.

He singlehandedly fixed the major issues with James Boone’s New Mutants. He basically changed it from being Old Useless Mutants to New Mutants lol! The man is ace!!

I can’t wait to see his skilled meticulous approach and deft methodical and highly creative talents carry over to the MCU when he is hired by Feige to work on the MCU mutant sphere

I've heard that too a while back! FOX only noticed what Kinberg was trying to do too late and now it is what is.

I can't tell if this is facetious or not. But it seems objectively true that this movie was not "fixed" by Kinberg since there weren't any reshoots.

In fairness, I don't know if there was any fixing of the movie. The best solution was probably to not touch it at all since it probably would have left us with a boring, mediocre, but coherent movie. But they basically overhauled the story without any money to do it. I doubt anyone could have made it a coherent story without Fox's support. That's not a defense of Kinberg, but I'm also not sure the movie was mostly his fault.

Doesn't matter if it gets its budget back, FoX was not confident with the finished film and that says a lot., its gonna be 1 and done and added to the list of mediocre/disappointing cb films.

Yeah. The description sounds crazy. I heard the third act is incredible and the characters are the best part of the movie. There is romance, also. I heard great things about this one. I am very excited for this movie. I hope it is good. The cast deserves it.

you see Magik and and a real Lockheed(who was a teddy on the poster) facing off against a giant Demon bear. She jumps over him and cuts him with her with her sword, the environment quickly flashes to limbo when the sword makes contact.
Demons bear then runs to the building with Wolfsbane pushing an unconscious mirage. He breaks through a bridge corridors and starts clawing up to them and can ball files towards him

Well, no mention of New Mutants coming to Disney+ during the presentation. So another rumor or scoop thrown at the wall that, of course, didn't end up sticking. But of course people here will still buy it.

Things happen in threes, right? Was said it wouldn't be in theaters. CinemaCon confirms it will. Said it would be announced as heading straight to Disney+. Obviously not.

I can't wait for the third and final scoop from folks here where it's reported exclusively on SHH that Josh Boone isn't even a real person. He's just a hologram that's been projected by the searchlights at 20th Century Fox.

Have you ever wondered why that animation was "leaked" or "released"?

If we had stuck with that direction I doubt the movie would've ever even been delayed.

Actually... a lot of what the animatic showed is still there. According to the trailer leak. Including the big bad guy. I am not saying you are lying, but a lot of what you said has been proven wrong. No offense, of course.

I’ve never read anything bad said about Josh Boone and his behavior on set on his previous two films. I figure we'd have heard about it by now. So I think this is not true (slandering).

I'm still looking forward to seeing it. Streaming service would be fine because I'm looking forward to not having to pay money to watch it. But theater would be fun too.
