duh, because he's black. But really, they're probably going for the human feel in the book. David is not all that pointless either. He still has training, still pretty smart, And he's black. Uber kool. But on the real, I vote he should go the the NW and become the new Night Thrasher.

OK I know its at an angle and I shouldn't nit pick but does anyone else hate the fact that Surge always get an "idependent" uniform. Her's greatly differed in the squids and after decemation she wore more street clothes now she appears in all black! What's up with that? Dust of course is understandable and Elixer cannot have gauntlets as he needs to expose his hands quickly but it just bugs me. When given a universal unifoem give everyone the same.

And I cannot believe I'm saying this but apaprt from the size of the boots etc that art rocks.

You don't know if it's different, perhaps when we get a full pic of her we'd know if it has the yellow thing down the middle.

Doesn't Hellion look like crap on that pic? He's like the most interesting character of the book (but my fave's Pixie) and he's relegated to the side and looking like crap...

I LOVE how Pixie looks on this cover. Really. Surge's okay as well. What I don't like is:
- Elixir's hair - waaay too wavey (if there's such a word),
- Hellion - he looks like Snape-junior,
- X-23's boots - they're too large, she could sleep in one!
- David's mouth - men wearing lipstick is sooo uncool,
- Cess is almost invisible and kinda melts with Santo,
- Dust's neck is twisted 180 degrees!!! Nezho must've broken her neck for the cover shot!! He's killed Dust! That ba$tard! ;P

She's always been like that. Ever since the NXA days, when the whole team had uniforms, hers was very different. That's why I like her, she's always been her own character.

Mercury's not hard to see. Even on the smaller pic she could be picked out easily. Rockslide isn't as fluid as she is, considering, well, he's a rock. A big ol' rock.

And Dust's neck isn't twisted 180 degrees. Her hand is drawn incorrectly. Well, I think so. I don't think that's her backside, and I think she's twisting (meaning it should be her right arm and we shouldn't be seeing her fingers), but I suppose I could be mistaken. Though, I suppose if I'm wrong, and that is her backside, her neck isn't drawn wrong. I can turn my head far enough to make that pose work (well, more or less). Not good for everyday practicality, but great for a pose! And the "more or less" works, because I don't think anyone's ever described Ramos as a realist when it comes to his work.
