Days of Future Past New x-men from the early years of CB's?

I pray to God that they don't try to stick Wolverine in the sequel.

He has his own franchise, where he can go off and meet Omega Red, Alpha Flight, etc.

It would be a terrible idea to put him in the First Class sequel.

Am I missing something? What is with the Thunderbird love? He's in a whopping three issues before he dies, and he's not a particularly interesting or likeable character either.

I would choose Warpath over Thunderbird if one of them had to be added. Have his brothers death be motivation or something like that. I really have no interest in seeing either.

Im cool with Polaris or Sunfire. Rather see other later X Men added but If we are only counting X-Men from the 60- 70's Id guess Id be cool with them.

I would have to agree with BMM on this point - Thunderbird wasnt a great character, he appears in 3 issues and has only recently come back into the comic book fold when he returned from the dead. Although this could also make him an interesting character because of that fact. He is a recent character and an old one... But to be honest hes too early in the franchise.

Ill take that. Even though she wasnt on the X Men yet Betsy was introduced in the 70s. Rather see her in any form then other X Men personally. Dont know how she could fit in the First Class series though, british Psylocke would probably would work better. Ditch all the body switching.

Ahhh knew I heard Sun something haha. Cool,thanks man. Didnt know bout Dazzler at all. If shes gonna be used I guess the First Clas series is the best way to use her.

for me would be really interesting to see a native american on the sequel, it would bring a different point of view, some with a certain origin, not just some random american.

They're all decent castings. Dazzler should be someone who can sing - and Aly fits that, even though I'd never heard of her before!

Not sure though if we'll get another Angel. Not just because of the 'clash' with the X3 version but because Zoe Kravitz's character is called Angel in the First Class franchise.

as much as I like Angel from the x-team, I think he isnt needed on this new trilogy.

Its time for new characters, until the main three get introduced (hopefully) in the last sequel, Scott, Jean and Storm.

Sooner or later there gonna have to add some of the original team, we will not see X4 for a very long time if at all with this franchise running solid. They are runing out options unless they want to go C/D list. I dont really see any problem with them adding Angel, Ice Man, Jean, Cyc etc. Even if they are not in their appearance order. They need some adults imo as well. Cant picture any of the kids on the team to be leaders in battle now that Prof X is out of action and Mags is on the other side. No way these kids can take on Mags,Emma, Azazel and Mystique. They will get worked. I think the X Men need at least a couple heavy hitters from the original team.

And we have to remember that in the comics the x-men dont always win, so it would be even more intense to see them fighting powerfull mutants.

Yeah. I really do think they need some older X-Men but at the same time really want to see the original crew. Im really curious to see what they do and how they handle it.

I think the X-Men First Class crew would def lose with their roster right now. Angel Salvadore and Riptide are goen down though haha.
