How if JGL was the first one and Robert Baker is this one
They still could've overdubbed his voice with another actor when he's "Cobra Commander."

You do know Ray Park never actually voiced Darth Maul right? They can still dub over his voice if they want.

but Robert Baker did not voice the one line he said in the first one. So it can't be the same voice since Baker is doing the voice in this one.

The Rock promises right here tonight that G.I. Joe Retaliation will be the best movie ever! If ya smell what The Rock is cooking!

I can't wait to watch this movie!

Its finally coming out soon!

Channing was dubbed?! link

I've listened to that clip over and over again, and it doesn't sound like he was dubbed. He probably just took some voice lessons to more properly enunciate his syllables and hide his "accent" a little bit more, so he would sound more like someone who was in the army. Other than that, the pitch and tone of his voice pretty much sounds exactly the same as it always has.

And, is just me, or has his acting improved some since Rise of Cobra? He seems much more comfortable in that clip.

Amazing scene! I don't hate the first one but this one already looked much better.

And TheVileOne was right about the Storm Shadow kidnapped thing.
henry, I believe it's Storm Shadow. I recall a clip that Storm Shadow is at Bruce Willis home and Storm Shadow says like he's got his own weapon or something. So it looks like Storm Shadow will ultimately turn good.

I think Snake Eyes kidnaps Storm Shadow to de-brainwash him. And I assume he's at some sort of ninja complex to take him back and his red ninja proteges give chase. That's just my prediction.

I usually am right about these things ;) .

But granted before the movie was delayed there was an early TV spot that showed Storm Shadow WITH the Joes and Colton asking him if he wants a weapon. That basically spoiled the whole reveal that Storm Shadow is brought into the Joes by the third act.

Larry Hama's short and spoiler-free review:

"I liked RETALIATION a lot. Vast improvement over ROC. Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow are much more up front, and the whole thing is a lot more character-driven. Not only is there no sinking ice, but the big finale involves physical action with people rather than choreography of CGI vehicles. The Rock is perfect as Roadblock, and Bruce Willis's take on Joe Colton is brill (he has some of the best lines.) There's no sign of Scarlett, but the actress who plays Lady Jaye is quite good. Jinx is amazing. Flint is kind of meh. Overall, the direction is terrific and crisp. I can tell what is going on all the time, and everything LOOKS great. Ninja fight sequence in the mountains is amazing, in that you never lose track of what is happening, and there's a ton of fast visual input. Is there stuff I didn't like? That would be quibbling. The positive outweighs the negative here. And I walked out feeling that the characters had been treated with respect."

Is the movie really a short 99 minutes? And was the last one really 118 minutes?

That's pretty cool, the review!
I'm definitely watching this.

Though I hope, if they get a sequel, they could at least get Scarlett back?

So, Larry Hama, the guy who wrote G.I. Joe, actually thought this was a great, entertaining movie?

March 29th, here I come! :woot:

So will they explained what happened to Destro? And I hope Scarlett isn't dead.
