Wow! That blows my socks off.

Now where are the pages for PSI force and DP7? Also, please let Kickers, Inc be just a footnote in this.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Newuniversal #2 will arrive in stores on Jan. 4 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Warren Ellis, with art and cover by Salvador Larroca.
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Here's how Marvel describes the issue:
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]" After the celestial phenomenon from the first issue, the White Event, ordinary people across the globe now have to come to terms with their new existences and abilities. Presenting a world witnessing super human power for the first time, Ellis and Larroca reintroduce the classic New Universe characters, but with a decidedly different spin. The man who would become Starbrand has just lost his girlfriend and now has seemingly limitless power at his fingertips. People fear that which they don't understand, which inevitably leads to tragedy." [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Newuniversal #2 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

Is it just me or are they turning Justice into a more violent "Unbreakable"?

though I really enjoyed the issue anyone else think the art didn't look as good as in the preview pages??

Was the resemblance to Bruce Willis planned or coincidental? I cant really see it being coincidental.

There's a lot of celebrity resemblances. The guy who's the new Starbrand looks like Josh Holloway. The sheriff looks like James Gandolfini. Those archaeologists look like Johnny Depp, Gene Hackman, and Nicole Kidman.

I didn't think the Starbrand existed anywhere outside the Newuniverse.

Actually Quasar visited the new universe and got the Starbrand. I forget how he lost it though.

I'm fairly well versed in the New Universe, and Newuniversal is supposed to be a ultimization... where I'm going with this is where does that giant robo-thingy come from?

I didnt make all those out but I definately saw Johnny Depp and Gene Hackman's resemblances. Isnt that a bad thing? Dont they have to pay them for likeness rights? I guess the artist could just play the fool and never admit to the resemblances.
