Anything would be better than AoV but dont say these heroes SHOULD be around. This is Smallville,...everythings different.

Well never know if Bruce Wayne even exists in this universe, let alone the JSA. Bart Allen (who shouldnt even be born yet) as the Flash...Cyborg showing up a decade before Clark is Superman etc

The should was based upon a conventional DCU not Earth 324354564324324354354243. Where SV continuity is the only thing out there.

what I would want Hal Jordan to look like on Smallville

only he would wear a green shirt

Jonn Jonnz in his human cop form

sort of what Diana would look like on the show, but with silver wrist bands.

wonderwoman.jpg

no costume. sort of the way she was dressed in her normal clothes on the Hawk and Dove episode.

Blue Beetle would just be a regular looking guy, blue, light blue, and black colored clothes, and yellow shades maybe. Not out of shape, but not super athletic looking. And not super groomed looking either.

I read a speculation over at Ksite about the Martian Manhunter being disguised as the next Sheriff of Smallville.

After thinking about this I thought it may have some merrit to it.

If you remember in Tomb, Lois referred to the new Sheriff as a being a little green, literally.

I seem to remember reading an article earlier in the season by Al Gough, when he said that this character may turn up in Smallville.

If Bruce were ever to guest star on Smallville, Bale would have to be Bruce Wayne, Because I can't see anyone else doing a badass job other than Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne.

i though t i heard a rumor that dean cain was showing up as the next sheriff...could that mean that dean cain is J'onn J'onnzz?

I'd like to see Carl Lumbly as J'onn J'onzz tracking down a villain from CO, and running across Clark. Only he is aware of Clark's existence, and in fact has watched him from a distance over the years to see how he would turn out.

J'onn J'onzz should definitely NOT be portrayed as a teenager, as he has been in existence for hundreds or thousands of years.

He could help Clark understand the need to use his powers for good, and Clark could help J'onn to fit in with people.

I think the Dean Cain thing was just a rumor.

they do want Dean Kane to play someone important in Clark Kent's life, but they dont know who yet. they want the story to be the right one, and not just an excuse to have Dean Cane in there.
Hey Lana, hows it going? Oh, look. It's Dean Cane.

Maybe they should have on a villian who isnt connected to Superman. For example maybe they could have on the show a young Poison Ivy or a young Cat Woman or something like that, one they can actually get for the show.
Before they became a Batman villian they had a run in with a young Clark Kent. and it doenst have to be a Batman villian, what about a Flash villian or a Green Arrow villian?

Lex or Lionel cause Oliver Queen to lose his fortune, and he comes to Smallville to settle the score, and a hero is born.Except Queen should be a few years older than Clark, maybe an old college friend of Lex's, or more appropriately, a fellow businessman that the Luthors screwed over....

Bruce Wayne's a given. Presumably as a business RIVAL of LexCorp who's aware of Lex's shady dealings...he comes to Metropolis to stop Lex from acquiring some sort of defense weapon/contract, etc. when Lex frames Bruce w/ something to make him look bad (for distraction), as a result, Clark & Chloe investigates Bruce's past, learns about his parents etc. then Clark and Bruce team up and stop Lex from doing something bad (similar to what AC did with that rocket thing), etc.

Other than that,

John Stewart--as a young Army recruit visiting SV.
J'onn--as a professor at Smallville A&M or Sheriff of SV
Diana--visiting Metropolis and/or Smallville (going through a rite of passage sort of thing ala Jor-El in 1960)

Just those four and i'll be set...

BATMAN! Batman batman batman!

It should be a 2 part episode called "Gotham" in homage to how "Smallville" was originally the title of the 2-part episode where Bruce was to meet Clark in the "Bruce Wayne" show. For some reason Clark and his friends would end up having to go to Metropolis, and Clark ends up meeting Lex's buisness world rival, Bruce Wayne. Lex would in Gotham for buisness reasons involving his #1 competitor, however Bruce, having no naivety whatsover, can read right through him and see his lies.

Bruce Wayne's look would have to be much the way they've handled Clark and the other DC heroes who show up on SV. He should wear a long black coat as a stand-in for a cape, and a tight gray turtle neck underneath it. He'd also have to deal out a hefty share of butt-kicking in a scene or three, and obviousely he'd have to be very popular with Clark's lady friends. :D

I know exactly who would be great to see, Deathstroke the Terminator.
Slade Wilson. He could be slightly younger but still in his 30 or 40s and still an very dangerous man. he could come on the show as a hired assassin to kill Clark Kent, or maybe Martha or Lex. But he finds out how hard it is to kill Clark.
Still he could be a threat even to Clark, and to anyone he comes in contact with. While they couldnt duplicate his costume, maybe he could wear SWAT type armor and gear, use lots of guns and a sword. And when he takes off his mask he has a patch on one eye.
This would also give the show a chance to let Clark really use his powers alot in order to fend off Slade.
Another good thing about it would be that he isnt just another hero like Flash, Aquaman, or Cyborg. So its a little different.

I went with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in this hypothetical scenario, because I've basically given up hope on seeing the much-talked about Bruce Wayne guest-spot. I know the creators of SV said in interviews in the past that they wanted for him to show up as a rival for Lex and to tweek Clark's sense of honor, but that was before Batman Begins became a blockbuster (even in an off year,) so I'm expecting the people that currently have the Batman license not to allow his character to be used in SV. I assume they believe it might cause confusion (since we're all a bunch of slack-jawwed yokels) if some other actor was to play Bruce Wayne on TV. And if you believe Christain Bale would do a guest-star role on TV, then you have more faith in the goodness of Hollywood then I.

But, back to Wonder Woman. I like the character a lot and believe she would fit nicely into the Smallville world. Personally, I can't decide whether or not she should be a visiting college student or a college professor. Perhaps, a guest lecturer on Greek culture at Met U. Either way, I'd really love to see at least one other of the big three meet up with Clark. Add to that, she is nearly as strong as he is (maybe stronger at this point in his life) and that could make for good scenes similar to the race between Clark and Bart in "Run". She's also sexy, so that could add an element to the meeting, especially with the whole Lana thing falling apart.

My second (third?) choice would be for laughs. I'd like to see a Native American, an African American, and an Asian, along with two meddling kids and their dog drive into Smallville (maybe in a van.) The crew would be on the trail of a nitwit of the thief, named Otis who is trying to fence stolen property to Lex. Stolen design plans for a mysterious fortress large enough to assemble a legion. Unfortunately, the crew loses the trail and becomes stranded in SV after two goth kids and their pet monkey hustle them for cash in a game of "water or ice." Clark buys them a bus ticket out of town, and Lex gives Otis a train ticket back to Metropolis. :)

I think this is a great suggestion. I personally would love to see the rumoured J'onn J'onzz show up as either the new SV sheriff, or as a detective from Metropolis--but your suggestion has me really wanting to see WW on the show.

i dont get the funny

bruce has to be more of a villian to lex,he owns wayne enterprises as a teen which is a bigger company then lex corp so you know lex hates him and that should be what thew episode revolves around, its to bad WB didnt go through with there mini about young bruce,it was going to guest star tom as supes to.

Lex acts like such a nice guy, totally innocent. How could anyone think he would harm anyone. But he has shown himself to actually be manipulative, and spoiled brat, and concerened aboput himself over anyone else.
I see Bruce being real contrasting. He is richer than Lex, already owns his own company which Lex hasnt done yet. Bruce also doesnt think of himself as a nice guy either. He is always brooding, rough around the edges. He is brutally honest. But his actions are good, he just doesn't care if people know it. Where as Lex is always trying to look good.
When he and Clark meet they don't like each other. Clark sees Bruce as a jerk, like many people do.

I think Bruce would come to Smallville on his journey of training, or maybe after he heard around about about Clark from various sources like Flash or criminals. Also i think an excuse could be his company dealing with lex' company.

While Bruce is there he and Clark can talk abouot the loss of their parents.
He also meets with Lex. During the night he dresses as a ninja and patrols the city, Clark finds out after he tries to stop the ninja and is thrown across the room. After an exray of the face he discovers its Bruce.
He dislikes Bruce even more. He is a vigilantee, and he is reckless and dangerous. Bruce sees Clark as someone who has so much power but hasnt used it as much as he could to help people.
even at the end they don't have to like each other. But they respect each other.

Just some ideas I had for the Batman on Smallville.

That idea is pretty sweet. I definately think an episode with Bruce Wayne needs to be set in Gotham City, because IMO it's more plausible for Clark & friends to go there and meet him than for him to, for some bizarre reason decide to visit a stick town like Smallville. Also it would be neat to see the characters go somewhere other than Smallville or Metropolis. A 2-parter, especially, would be sweet.

I like your idea for Bruce being sort of the opposite of Lex. However, I still want to see him put some charm on at least one of Clark's leading ladies (Lois seems to be the most likely canidate).

Oh boy. I feel kinda bad for you cause they arent going to let Wonder Woman appear either. The rights are tied with Whedon's WW script to be finished very soon, if they want it to hit threatres by late 2007, preproduction and casting will begin in the next few months.

Jonn Jonz is the only real popular and plausable choice to appear on the series.

Bruce Wayne was a bad idea anyways, he should be travelling the world around this point in time and Christian Bale playing it on tv (despite him never agreeing to do it) wont make much sense either. Batman Begins is a modern take that takes place in the present (2005). Smallville is also in the present (currently 2006). Their timelines dont match so they arent in the same universe at all.

Anyways, regardless... I have an idea to make GL work on SV without major rights issues and continuity glitches with the source material:

The episode is called "Light"

- Following the defeat of General Zod, Brainiac devises a new strategy to restore Zod's empire. After months of development, using Tech from the spaceship hes developed a Kryptonite-powered probe that has abilities to travel through time at lightspeed. The probe contains data to General Zod about future events; the destruction of Krypton etc...so he could use this knowledge to his advantage and rule the planet. It is designed to travel back 10 years before the destruction of Krypton and land in Zod's remote fortress, removed far away from the main continent.

- Clark eventually realizes Brainiac is developing some kind of weapon, using Luthorcorp's resources for the project as well and tries to stop him, believing the weapon is a missle.

- Clark tries to fight Brainiac and stop the launch but is defeated and outsmarted. The weapon/probe is launched...

- Clark decides he has no choice but to sacrifice himself to save the people of Earth and destroy the weapon. He thrusts himself at it while its above the city and attempts to break it apart, while suffering from extreme Kryptonite exposure. He punches out its navagation systems..and there is a flash of bright light.. He immediately falls to the Earth unconscious right after.

- The Kryptonite exposure left him with strange temporal signatures from the device in his brain.

- The weapon/probe travels back in time to 10 years prior to the destruction of Krypton but with the navagation systems compromised, it crashes in the Kryptonian captial city.....the people of Krypton discover the contents of the probe and learn about their own future.

- History is ALTERED.

- It is now the present, 2006, and we find that the Kryptonians have resettled on another planet, named Argo while Zod was arrested and imprisoned decades ago.

- Kal-El, the son of Jor-El and Lara (now 19 years and a man) has just been recruited by the Green Lantern Corps and receives his Power Ring.

- Kal-El is the protector of his star system and several familar GL faces are seen; like Tomar-Re and Abin Sur.

- For years Kal-El has been having nightmares. Dreams of falling on another world, dreams of Brainiac and the flash of bright light. Recently theyve been getting stronger and more frequent.

- Throughout the episode, he begins to have visions and memories of another life. The temporal signatures, put in his brain by the explosion of light during the attempt to destroy the weapon, survived the alteration of time. They still exist in his brain and retain the memories of his past life, stored in his subconscious.

- Eventually Abin Sur takes Kal-El to Earth to investigate Kal's visions. Kal's memories of Clark's life begin to resurface when he arrives in Smallville. He lands in General Lane's Airforce base and takes the identity of an Airforce pilot named Hal Jordan to blend in. He steals Hal's jacket and ID.

- Kal-El realizes how much Smallville has changed from the way he remembered it. Senator Lex Luthor is in power over Smallville with his finanical empire controlling everything in the town. Lana Lang is engaged to Pete Ross (who isnt seen on screen). Pete was the one who conforted her after her first boyfriend Whitney was killed...and theyre relationship developed from there. Chloe is in a mental institution after years of solitude during high school secluded in the Torch office alone.

- Kal-El is disturbed to find the gravestones of Jonathan and Martha Kent; killed in a tragic automobile accident. Jonathan was the only one will to step up to Lex and run against him, but Lex made sure he never got the opportunity.

- Kal-El realizes he must restore the timeline. He needs to go back in time and destroy the probe before it made contact with Krypton. Theres only one force in the universe that has the powers to help him...The Guardians...

- The Guardians have been aware of the disruption and alteration in the timeline but did not interfere...yet. They were testing Kal-El to see if he would put his own wishes of a perfect life on Krypton with friends and family over the greater good of restoring the timeline. Clark/Kal-El passed the test. They tell him they will send him back to stop the weapon and tell him that he will not be a Green Lantern anymore, it was never his destiny....he was meant to walk down a different path.

- Kal-El destroys the weapon and the timeline is restored.

Back on Earth

- Clark wakes up after being knocked out by the probe and overhears Brainiac yelling over how the plan is ruined and the probe was somehow destroyed.

- Clark believes he destroyed it during that flash of white light and goes back home now healed.

- On the way he sees an Airforce base doing an airshow for public view in Smallville. He notices a pilot named Hal Jordan and gets a strange sense of deja Vu. He continues home where he begins to dream of life of Krypton and the Green Lanterns......believing they are dreams and never realizing he once actually lived those events.
