Norton Reprising the role of Banner = Up to the fans

Whats even worse, i'm not even a huge fan of the Avengers, I don't like the idea of a superhero team made up of well known popular and/or powerful characters. I think the same of the Justice League, that doesn't mean I don't like those titles! I mean both series have surprised me often. I haven't read enough of either to really understand them I suppose....but I like a series focusing on a much smaller amount of characters, like one. :p

Oh, same here Ock, same here.

I see those projects as just big overloaded fangasms provokers. But what I hate the most is all those superhero movies reduced to pre-Avengers movie episodes.

Agreed! I love how they have the characters within each others worlds but if Marvel intends to turn the Avengers into a long series...well, all I can say is...the horror!

And for the record.. this REALLLLLLY pisses me off. Give Edward his role back.. :/

Agreed.

Meh, they can do better. Assuming they're willing to look hard enough.

Every time this happens.. credibility is lost. It's tacky and annoying. :/

Agreed, my credibility in Marvel Studios as a company and The Avengers flick has dropped a good 25% because of this and the mistakes they made with IM2

I was reading what someone said in the link provided, they made a damn good point:

I'm a Marvel fan from way way back but this sort of thing is really off putting. They asked to accept their reboot with Norton on the IMMEDIATE heels of the Bana one and now they are asking us to discard that one too essentially.

Not smart at all.

again, agreed 100%

This doesn't help Marvel Studios look professional whatsoever

I'm already a skeptic with Sony's Spidey reboot and Fox's X franchise, this is BS that Marvel is now making me a skeptic with Cap/Thor/Avengers

top it off with being skeptic on the casting of Reynold's as Hal/G.L. and the third act curse coming into play with Nolans BB3, there's really not a superhero property in the works right now I have full complete faith in

The whole Superhero ****house (when it comes to live action films) is going down in flames

I might just stick with cartoons/comics from now on and skip all "live action" superhero movies all together

I wouldnt write anything off until you at least see a trailer

Which I'll do, with the exception of any and all future X Men films as Fox has already proven they couldn't give any less of a crap about those.

I'm still giving the Spidey reboot a shot, as well as Thor/Cap/Avengers/GL/BB3/TF3 but.....damn if I'm not starting to lose a whole wad of faith in each and every one of them for one reason or another

Im searching for a symbol to give marvel at this moment and this is all I can think of:

Venom/Max, if you are anything like your pet names you change day to day. I predict by Com Con you'll be good fanboys again until the next bit of news about Cap leaks.

after reading nortons statement.....I am still disgusted with marvel.

lolwut:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:

oh my respect for them is folding majorly

Completley lost all of Fox's respect, Sony is slipping, and now Marvel

like I said, if this trend continues, the only live action (comic book adaptions) I'll support in the future are tv shows. I'll stick to cartoons/animation for everything else

yea, the live action movie adaptions are starting to turn REAL SOUR, and that's a damn shame :csad:

you people are naive if you thought something of this scale was gonna go smoothly.

well the thing is it should have, the actors are all on board for it to go smoothly but for whatever dumb ass reason, Marvel WANTS (yes, they literally want) to mess up what they've built so far

there is absolutley NO REASON AT ALL for this, AT ALL.

Just Marvel being irresponsible, immature and dumber than a bag of freaking rocks

I can't believe they decided to recast norton. I'm so pissed, tbh. Terrible choice.

I read Norton's statement, but that still doesn't change my anger towards Marvel right now.

All of this is giving me the need to get high, and I want whatever the hell it is Marvel is smoking right now

must be some damn good ****

going to suck when they come down from it and realise what they've done, BUZZKILL

With Norton gone, so is the future of the Hulk franchise. Not saying that no other actor can bring new life to the role, but Norton's portrayal was Bill Bixby-like, and i appreciated that about his Banner. Whatever now, hey: "THANKS MARVEL!"

I just can't get over this

unnecessary down to the definition, replacing Norton's Banner is exactly like replacing Downey Jr's Stark.

uncalled for
