Singer already re-hashed the first movie. We don't want another re-hash...do something new.

Yup.

Looks like Lois will die at the end of part II after Superman finally disposes of Zod.

Lois will then be "ressurected" or "reborn" through being placed on a new, living planet developed by Jor-El before Krypton exploded.

Supes sends Lois' casket onto this "new" planet, only he was aware of.

All along comes Braniac, who attempts to take control of the planet.

Along the way, Jimmy Olsen experiences some weird halucinations and even begins to talk like Lois, as if Lois' "spirit" or as they say in Star Trek III, her "katra" is inside Olsen.

Superman has a final battle with Braniac on this doomed "new" planet, which is set to explode because of some imperfections in its development, discovered by Superman late in the movie.

Along the way, Lois' is reborn and reunited with Supes at the end of the film.

As she says: "...are...you....out of danger???"

Superman: "Yes!"

Lois: "You're name.....you're name is.....Superman??"

Superman: "Yes!!"

--the fourth Superman movie is called 'the Voyage Home' and deals with Lois trying to regain her memories and past while Superman deals with saving some whales.

yeah i like that version of Brainiac too. although i like Luthoriac the best

Weaving is a fantastic actor, but right now i'd rather have the role go to another actor as good as he is.
