That was just good from start to finish.

3 and half minutes to the game I really want to see today.

:word:

I really did not expect Gasol to actually be worth a damn today. Nor did I expect Ray Allen to simply camp out behind the arc all day (3-11 from 3 ).

Good game.

Wow, what a Christmas present buzzer beater from Mason to the Phoenix Suns :hehe:

What a finish :wow:
That was a great Christmas present! If no one in Phoenix knew who Roger Mason was they sure know now.

It almost always is when it comes to the Spurs and Suns. The rivalry is strong and emotions always run high.

Gasol was big. Total team effort for LA. Great win.

The Cavs just didn't have it tonight, but they still pulled out the win. The NBA picked a good night to schedule the Wizards.

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard unveiled his special Christmas Day shoes sporting the Superman logo during an NBA basketball game against the New Orleans Hornets in Orlando on Dec. 25.

Howard will try to defend dunk crown

NEW YORK (AP) — Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard will try to defend his Slam Dunk championship at the NBA All-Star weekend in Phoenix in February.
In New Orleans last season, Howard edged defending champion Gerald Green for the title in one of the most creative competitions in recent history. Howard scored perfect 50s on both of his first-round dunks — one of which included his donning a cape for a "Superman" dunk.

I'm all for promotion of Superman, but those shoes are horrible.

What in the HELL?

Oh, and have people forgotten about Shaq? Good, bad, old, whatever. He's still around. Let's be original, DH.

^Until D-Howard does something truly special. He can't be called Superman. I mean they had to restructure the hoops to stop Shaq from tearing them down. That is Superman man fellas!

What exactly makes those "special Christmas Day shoes"?

I regret Cuban trading Harris away, but Kidd really does show up in the clutch. I can't tell you how many games this year he's gotten a huge steal near the end of the game, or hit a big 3 when we needed it. Harris is having a great year, but I think he'll be hurt before the All-Star break.

Guess you were wrong. :woot::woot::woot:

I'm very happy that I was wrong, and I hope it's not an aberration and that Lakers have indeed turned a corner. Celtics is still the team to beat, and right now I think Lakers have to do something by the trade deadline for a defense specialist like Artest if they want to go all the way. Lakers still have too many people who can't or won't committ to playing defense, unfortunately.

Beasley played his most complete game yet today, making some nice contributions on defense, and Spo let him get quality minutes in the 4th as Miami put the game away. I hope this is him turning the corner. With two spots against Cleveland, plus Orlando and San Antonio coming as four of the next five, the team will need all the prominence it can muster.
