will i get mauled if i admit i want arod over lowell? I dont want mike Lowell till he's 38; espec. when he is 34 and really do well due to Manny and Papi's down years. A-rod would hit 360 with 40 homers, 120 rbis, and even more runs scored.

The worst at 3rd base probably, I think he'd be better at 1st than Prince Fielder, who probably will end up in the AL at DH eventually.

i meant that no fielder at any other position was worse than braun was at third. he had the worst fielding percentage of any 3B since 1910. yeah, stats don't tell the whole story, but in this case, they tell more than enough.

what he^said. a-rod's a waste of money. no team in their right mind should meet his asking price. he's simply not worth it. they're better off using that money to fill several holes rather than just one. lowell's gonna re-sign with the sox, though, so it's a moot point.

it looks like the yanks signed another foolish contract. they'll end up regretting it in two years when they're paying $13 for a 38 year old platoon catcher hitting .250 with 10 homers.

The Chicago Cubs could try to pull off a trade for Carl Crawford of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, which would probably take Rich Hill, Eric Patterson and a couple more prospects.

Im more interested in the NL MVP obviously because of Rollins...plus that one is at least debateable...the CY YOung, I thought at least was pretty cut and dry.

Sabathia really played like a cy young winner in the playoffs; unlike mr. beckett...

sabathia deserved the award, and this is coming from a lifelong red sox fan. sabathia threw 41 more innings than beckett, had a lower ERA, more strikeouts and less walks, while having one less win than beckett. beckett was great, especially in the post-season, but sabathia had the better regular season, which is all that counts for this award.

Sabathia did deserve the Cy Young, although I think Beckett will take his Playoff MVP and World Series Ring.

Right, so the awards are more exciting if a player you like or a player from your hometown team is involved. So somebody that fits that description might thing the Cy Young is more exciting.

Well if it makes anyone bitter over Beckett not winning the Cy Young feel better, neither of them cared who won it because of how both of their respective postseason's ended.

Not sure why there would be any bitterness over Beckett winning, Sabathia had won in most major categories. Not much of a suprise. Although I was hoping Beckett would win it. Sabathia sealed the deal because he was in a playoff battle and he went 3-0 vs Santana.
