Endgame Official Avengers: Endgame General Discussion Thread!

Cool, good to know. Its been the thing preventing me from getting 4k TV’s and such and sticking with regular 1080p. I may upgrade next year and start getting 4k blu rays like @MovieSlave suggested. I’d love to see Endgame in the highest quality possible.

So far the reviews for most of the MCU films on 4K have been really good. The colors pop a bit more for those that have complained that a number of their films look a bit drab.

I'm eagerly waiting for them to do the Iron Man trilogy and a couple others like Doctor Strange.

Yeah sometimes it's called something else, like "Motion Interpolation" or "Motion Enhance Plus" but it's a setting that can be turned off, in most cases. And it's less to do with resolution and more to do with imitating a different frame rate, I think (like, say, 48fps). But I agree it's awful. My dad doesn't notice the difference so whenever I visit him I always turn it off on his TV because it somehow always comes back and it drives me crazy, lol. He's just all like "what are you even talking about? It looks the same to me!" :funny:

Thats what drives me crazy!! 9/10 people not only don't notice it they see it the TV IMPROVING the image quality if anything.

He's probably just turning it back on just to mess with you. :argh: Us fathers can be very devious. :cwink:

I've been thinking about upgrading to 4K, but I've got a 70+ inch screen in my living room and between that and a new player, it's been a little too pricey. My wife, however, just got a new position as programming director of la te da so we're actually going to have a couple extra bucks. Plus my daughter will soon be graduating from USC so that cuts back on our expenses (unless she lives at home forever LOL).

That stupid soap opera thing drives me CRAZY. Why do soaps look like that anyway? Do they just use crappy equipment and use the smoothing or whatever to make it look presentable?

Saw it this weekend again. Thought I would be mostly my myself but the theater was like 4/5 full. Great crowd reaction and it seems that some parts of the crowd had not seen it yet due to their reactions. Still, it was cool.

an unfinished scene come on Mr. Mouse lets not skimp on this !

Just one unfinished deleted scene after the credit?

I'll wait for everything to be on the Blu-ray, thanks.

When are the official days and in what theaters? With this thing still in certain theaters I want to be sure I see the right film Lmfao
My question exactly...

Which showtimes have the posters and extended version?

Yeah, event isn't listed on Fandango. They better not screw me out of tickets again.

So I guess that means it won't be the soulworld scene with adult Morgan because that was finished and shown to test audiences.

The only deleted scene that might have made me consider seeing this release would have been Tony in "soul world" after the final snap where he talks to a more grown up Morgan. As it is, I'd have been more inclined to see this in theaters again if the Blu-ray release wasn't in less than two months.

Unfinished? C'mon Disney...

They have the money and we all damn well know this wasn't exactly a last minute move. They should have had the effects crew finish it if it's only one scene.

I wanted to see this again anyways so I'll be there.
