The line about being without food and water for four days seems a little silly. If Tony had gone four days without water then he'd be clinging to life at that point, having done irreversible damage to his body.
He would probably be losing weight so maybe they cgi some weight loss. He is just drifting through space with Nebula. He isn't doing anything physical to drain him, likely a lot of mental fatigue trying to figure out a way home.

Nah. In four days he wouldn't lose enough to be immediately visible. I've done 3 day water fasts before (granted I was still drinking water), but my main weight only dropped a few pounds. Nothing you would notice by eye. If anything, cracked lips, dry skin and that sort of thing would be the only visible effects.

But as I said on the last page, it's completely realistic for him to still be functioning after four days with no food or water. I personally saw someone last much longer without either, and they were in far worse base physical shape. As long as Tony wasn't doing much to exert himself (which I'm sure he wasn't) four days is completely survivable. He wouldn't feel good, and he would definitely be in need of sustenance soon, but he would very much be still alive and functioning.

Absolutely massive!
Where are they getting their number from? I went to youtube, and it's only 46 million, but I won't lie, I do believe it should be higher but the people over at youtube are probably manipulating the official numbers.

As for deaths:
Loki is permanent.

Gamora might be restored by Nebula sacrificing herself.

Vision as we knew him is definitely dead; White Vision is NOT Vision. Shuri likely does not return until the third act of Endgame, and she certainly cannot restore Vision's soul; his ability to feel was intrinsically tied to the Mind Stone, so Shuri can only make a zombie version of Vision, a formidable machine, but certainly no man.

The Other being who had the ability to control the Mind stone/scepter IMHO holds the key to restoring Vision.

The scepter may hold Vision's essence, wherever it is.

So much for Lion King taking the box-office crown of 2019

It doesn't even matter who wins. Disney will have the majority of the Top 10 Box Office next year between Endgame, The Lion King, Frozen 2, Star Wars Episode IX, Toy Story 4, Aladdin and Captain Marvel.

CM might be slightly lower than the others, but it is crazy that one of those other films is going to be only 6th highest on the ranking from just one studio in one year.

When is the SW Vision show supposed to be set?

I remember that Marvel and the Russo's said they were keeping the title under wraps not just for spoiler reasons but because they wanted Infinity War to sit with people for as long as possible before they started marketing Avengers 4 at all. Which is why they waited so long to tell us the title.

Am I the only one who dislikes that they moved it up a week again? Maybe it's just my OCD, but I liked the first weekend of May tradition for big Marvel movies. What are they avoiding this time? Last year there was Deadpool 2 and Solo (Solo ended up being a bomb, but that's hindsight) so I could see why they wanted the extra breathing room. This year there's Detective Pikachu and Aladdin, which is a step down competition wise.

I do get it though. It's business. That extra week increases the box office a lot before the slew of tentpoles hits in the summer, regardless of what else is releasing in May itself.

There is also spoilers and piracy to consider. They clearly want another worldwide same day release like Infinity War.

No you never. At five days the average person would be dead, at four at the very least your organs would be starting to shut down and your eyes would be shrinking back into your skull.

I think it will be mostly set after, but I do think there will be alot of flashbacks to humanoid Vision (partly to save money) while White Vision will be in the series present. I think he will still have memories of who he was.

I'm just speculating, of course, but Infinity War emphasised "I feel you" and tied it to the Mind Stone so much that it has to mean something.
I think the stones will be destroyed at the end of Endgame.
The scepter may well be the key to Vision's lost humanity.

Furthermore, alot of people are saying Steve or Tony will make the Soul Stone sacrifice, but I think it will be Nebula, as it completes her arc, and goes back to her losing to Gamora because she wanted a sister. That shows Nebula as someone who, deep down, is selfless and willing to sacrifice for others. It makes sense as well as it mirrors Thanos sacrificing Gamora.

Were people really expecting another trailer like Infinity War that showed all the heroes including Captain Marvel punching their way out? That would have been boring and felt redundant. I’m sure we will get an action trailer later. But the Russo’s have said the second movie is very different than the first.

For the morose angle they took with the trailer, I liked it. My one grip is, though I like Scott Land, a comic moment was the wrong way to end the trailer. Even a small action spot, showing any one of the heroes fighting to undo the snap would have been better than a comedic flip in the emotional trend they had set up.

A few more thoughts from the trailer:
- Yes, Barton's face shows a lot of pain, no doubt the IW snap dusted most if not all of his family.
- I wonder how much power and durability Thanos has lost after using the IG. This could be the decisive factor, along with having Captain Marvel, should the team be able to corner him again.

Lastly and most importantly, my message to Disney - please do not bring back the pre-snap deaths, i.e. Heimdall, Loki and Gamora, etc. Their deaths served the greater story, to reverse them just continues the fake death spree that the MCU is infamous for, and would seriously turn me off from future movies. There already aren't enough stakes in the MCU due to the overuse of plot devices bringing back dead characters.

I need Gamora back. Starlord needs Gamora back! Sure, not all are going to return, but I really hope she is one of those who do.

.

They don't want to give away any action scenes, and Scott Lang asking Avengers to let him in might be humorous, but definitely not a comedic moment. I think it is implying that Scott may be the key to Avengers' victory over Thanos, with his little brown beat-up van that holds the device to travel to the Quantum Realm.

I was thinking the last time i watched the trailer, i think that what we are seeing right at the start of the trailer is Tony making a digital copy of himself of his consciousness into the helmet in case of anyone findind him. It would be interesting.

Another observation is that it the Tony line should be one day without food or water instead of four, it would be more realistic, otherwise it is pretty odd that he is not dead without water.

And the "Endgame" subtitle is weak, i was expecting better. They also lied when they said that the subtitle was not in any dialogue of Infinity War.

I also really, really hope that they tone down the jokes for this one, at the very least in the first act and climax. Even Infinity War had some jokes that it did not needed, like "Invisible Drax" that stopped the movie dead on its tracks just to make a joke.

In a comfortable environment, people can last well past 4 days without water. He's not in direct sunlight and he's in the coldness of space.

Did anyone notice in the trailer when Scott shows up in the left hand corner by Archive it says 1983? This could be another ruse by the Russo's, but it's interesting to think about if Scott ended up in the past.

I'm proud of Marvel Studios. I've been watching their films since day one and I feel like a dad watching the son growing and becoming more and more successful. I'm still amazed at what they have achieved. One weak block and it might not have worked the way it has. It really is an amazing artistic, creative, businessy achievement.

How Long Can a Person Survive Without Water?

There's no reliable predictor of how fast dehydration would kill a person. Many survival blogs suggest that an average person can survive for somewhere from two days to a week without liquids, but that's a rough estimate at best.

Again, I literally saw a family member, an 80 year old woman whose body was riddled NY rhumetoid arthritis and had suffered a severe head injury, last 10 days on no food and water before finally passing after asking to be taken off life support.

So... yeah, I'd read through my posts next time. I have a fairly personal first hand experience seeing how long a body can survive without food and water.

Maybe they will show Nebula have some small crumbs and crackers to feed Iron Man and restore him to health. Maybe there is a small stash of Milano cookies on the Milano?

What vegetables and fruits will Thanos be growing and farming to feed hungry Tony in their next encounter?

Besides these questions about thirst and feeding, I wonder if the Russos will make this more of an adventure film and have multiple smaller action scenes as opposed to large set pieces since most of Thanos’ army and lieutenants were killed off.
