The one thing that's a bit disappointing about the Scarecrow cameo (for me) is that it's just Crane. Don't get me wrong, it sounds like a good scene, but if his appearance does nothing to further his characteristics as "The Scarecrow", then it just feels like an excuse to give Cillian some facetime (kind of like the Bruce Campbell/Stan Lee cameos in Marvel).

One thing that was good about his appearance in the final act of Begins to the beginning of TDK was it looked like his character fully embraced being a costumed rogue, at least partially (because he went back to a suit in TDK). Seeing as there's not even a potato sack this time, this reverses that again.
