The Dark Knight Rises OFFICIAL: Batman in the Burgh - - Part 11

Well that was decently responsible of them I guess. Makes you wonder what they did with the trees that were cut down.

Anybody know when our PBurg ninjas are releasing their top secret info?

So they were worried that removing the leaves would harm the trees... so they cut them down? Not following the logic here? Do they mean they removed the leaves and afterward cut them down?

Not sure how long this will stay up...

If you know of any videos out there that would fill in the blanks in this sequence please post them up along with what time you think they fit in.

Cool video! But yeah, I don't blame you for not leaving it online too long.

That's a very cool video, aliensarchive

If the older tress had their leaves torn out, they may not be able to grow new leaves, so they would be unable to photosynthesise and die. By cutting them down they ensure that this will not happen as young trees can definitely grow leaves photosynthesise more efficiently than older trees. :)

Lol I'm willing to bet some of these same people who thought the batpod flip was "cheeseball" want ra's back. Alive.

I have a quick little story from the shoot at Heinz Field.

So everyone knows (and has probably heard the audio) that Bane spoke there. After the first take in which there was no voice heard for the audience, Hardy asked Nolan if he could really use the microphone and speak to the audience. Nolan was not too happy at all but he obliged. :word:

And I've heard that his voice is "almost guaranteed" to be altered in post.

His voice will be dubbed. Doesn't mean the approach to it will be changed.

Very true. At least they donated money for new trees to be planted, but I still feel sad for the trees that were just there doing their tree thing. :csad:

:lmao: I bet Nolan didn't like the reaction that voice got, but Tom is certainly helping with the misdirection. :hehe:

The other day I saw someone wearing a shirt that just said "SKYHOOK" on it. I was intrigued but not enough to ask. :oldrazz:

/coolstorybro

It could very well just be a basketball shirt.:hehe:

I don't see much of a problem with the shot of the batpod. It ended the sequence on a cool enough note. I know my theater had people who were mostly silent during the chase scenes, there were gasps when the truck flipped, but the batpod flip did receive some cheer. It makes enough sense to have that shot, because the batpod seems like the kind of thing that turn over if you made too wide a turn, and the idea is after all that to have him turn around quickly, ready for more.

That shot of the Batpod lasted only seconds. Some people will whine just about everything. :csad:

I don't have anything against the scene, either. It was totally unexpected to me when I saw it the first time. I thought it was pretty cool, and it's something Batman would do. He didn't do a U turn like everybody else would, he pushed up against a wall. :woot:

He's an excentric billionaire playboy dressed up like a bat who rides a goddamn motorcycle. We should expect such pointless excentricities from him once in a while. :oldrazz:

Oh Tommy! If he hadn't done that we wouldn't get the audio. Bless him :)

Did anyone get to keep any props from the Pittsbugh shoot? One section got foam guns, hats, etc.

Still looking for a Gotham Rogues t-shirt (XL) :batty:
