I liked the backup more than the main story in Batman #0. Shame that Cassandra and Steph were left out, but what we did get was great.

looking at dick, jason, and tim together in the backup just makes it seem like bruce has a fetish

Oh yeah, I forgot Jason was a redhead. Yeah, that would've been nice if they'd kept that aspect.

I dunno, I always found it kind of creepy that Bruce made him dye his hair.

It had reasonable reasons in the book. Didn't he not want anyone to know he was swapping little boys out for Robin like spent batteries at the time?

It is, but whatever. I wonder though if Damian will finish his Robin internship as quickly as the others and we'll have Robin #5 come in soon. Steph maybe? I dunno. I don't write this crap. I should though.

Wait, what is Steph's history post-Flashpoint? Was she ever Robin? ****, does she even exist?

I know they said that Batman's history is staying mostly intact, but that idea's already gotten kinda ****ed up.

She popped up as Batgirl in Morrison's Leviathan Strikes, but even there she was originally going to be Spoiler. Right now it looks like she doesn't doesn't exist. Cass too.

Batman's history is supposed to be relatively the same, but given that DiDio seems to absolutely despise the very idea of using Steph or Cass, I would guess that Steph doesn't exist anymore. Cass either, except for the fact that Morrison's already used her post-reboot as Black Bat in Batman Incorporated.

Why do so many good young character always get the shaft?

It happens at Marvel and DC. I get that the companies want to focus on their established heroes, but they're missing opportunities to create (or maintain) new good titles with young central characters left and right.

Preaching to the choir. I've wanted bigger roles for Thor's recurring younger related characters, Tarene, Troll, and Thunderstrike, since they were each introduced.

Things we learned from Batman #0:

-Year One is no longer in contintuity
-Damian was born before Bruce Wayne became Batman

Which doesn't make any sense considering that Batman Incorporated has Bruce being Batman before Damian being born.

Seems like a cheap Lisbeth Salander knock-off.

I found her vaguely interesting, but until she actually does some more stuff in Batman's corner of the universe, I can't say I care about her much. I wouldn't mind seeing her as Robin, though.

Honestly, I don't think she's been developed nearly enough to be either cared about or compared to any other character. She needs a lot more fleshing out before I can feel one way or the other about her.

I agree, although I already sort of like her just because Becky Cloonan drew her. I find practically anything Cloonan draws somehow more endearing.
