I'm reading No Mans Land right now and I forgot, is this before or after Knightfall?

then you fail at life. seriously, do some research and you will see that i'm right.
Don't get your panties in a twist. I already downloaded Hoax Hunters and Revival in the past 30 seconds.

Well, that's convenient. I'm reading Supergods for the first time, and I'm at the chapter where he discusses this.

Batman Inc issue zero this week

It's going to be more :awesome: than a possum

Anubis said:
Yeah, Manhattan Projects and Saga are awesome, as are the rest he mentioned.

Manhattan Projects sounds like it be wacky

I'm going to check that out this week

The premise of Red Hood zero was absurd. No effort is made to explain how the Joker knew his actions would have the desired effects, or how he knew to involve Leslie Thompkins.
Lobdell basically tried to tell me that if you ruin a kid's life in Gotham he will automatically become Robin.

More frustratingly, Lobdell didn't sell why Jason was a candidate. What was special about him? What made him capable of being Robin? It's nowhere in the narrative.

I think I'm going to finally drop this book until another writer comes on. I love Jason Todd, but Lobdell is a crime against humanity.

Yeah, Lobdell's pretty bad, for the most part. If Rocafort wasn't on art duties, I would have dropped it a few issues in.

Eh, I think Lobdell's characterization and character interaction in Red Hood has been pretty awesome.

Bruce Wayne is constantly lurking around Gotham looking for orphans to put in a costume and make his new Robin :o

It's the only rational explanation

frazier irving is not a good pick for straight superhero stories ioo V_V;;

I can understand that sentiment but I disagree.

His Joker is one of the greatest portrayals of the character, he can make Batman truly threatening and I think he suits Morrison's time travel/cross dimensional/meta textual elements perfectly. That scene with Bruce falling through the Well/Cave/Time/Omega Sanction perfectly encapsulates Morrison's entire saga brilliantly, as was his take on the classic Year One moment.

In short I love the son of a *****.

Irving is one of my favourite artists in the industry. What he did on Batman is incredible.

To be fair, RoughNTumble is right - Irving would be a horrible fit for any typical, straight superhero story. There'd be a disconnect between "Hey look at my story where <insert superhero> beats up <insert bad guy>" and his artistic style.

Where RoughNTumble misses the point, and where Oberon hit it, is Morrison doesn't typically tell straight superhero stories. And this is why Irving works so damn well with him. Same as J.H. Williams III and the arc he did with Morrison on Batman, introducing the Black Glove and all that.

He's definitely one of the better artists working in comic books right now I think

we just mean that we prefer him on stuff like seven soldiers of victory over batman and robin tbqh ^_~

Dark Knight #0 was incredibly satisfying and makes Batman #0 even more of a disappointment.

Loved Inc 0# perhaps my favorite issue of the series to date.

Hurray for Aussie Superheroes! :)

Batman TDK #0 is a good origin story.

Teen Titans #0 just ruined what little hope I had for reboot Tim Drake

Why does that kid on the last page of The Dark Knight #0 have a Superman shirt on? In this new history, Batman predates Superman by several years. Continuity gaff?
