Official Batman Titles thread 2.0 - - - - - - - Part 16

I really hope it does happen. Between DK III and this, we would have a complete story from Frank in his DK universe.

From the subreddit of DC:
Greg Capullo stated that after issue #51 of Batman he will be on hiatus from the book to work on another project. He will still do covers for Batman when he can. But he will reunite with Scott and they will work on a new Non Batman project. Some of the words he used to describe it are
"Turning it up to 11."
"DC changing stuff."
"Going to the next level. We can't go laterally, only up. "

Damn, can't wait to see what those two are cooking next.

Good news for my fellow ASBAR fans (all 3 of you): Jim Lee says that Dark Knight: Boy Wonder may finally see the light of day.

It's happening! During the DKR 30th anniversary panel at NYCC:

A fan asked if we would see the completion of All-Star Batman. "We just started it." said Miller.

OK gotta admit, I'm pretty hyped for Robin War. Haven't been this hyped since Darkseid War. And what's with all these titles with "war" in them lol?

I don't really care about anything going on in the Batbooks right now, but that Robin War preview intrigues me. I like the art.

Did anybody pick up Batman: Europa? Any good?

I did. I quite liked it. The writing was top notch, though different from how Azzarello usually approaches it. It was much lighter than I was anticipating. In fact, it reminded more of the old Denny O'Neal stuff and even the Paul Dini "Detective Comics" run from a few years ago. So in that regard, it felt more like classic Batman. It should be a fun read.

Also, all the advertisements were in the back of the book after the story which was very nice.

Europa #1 was good. I didn't like the colouring at first but it grew on me.

It's not set in post-Flashpoint considering it was announced back in 2005. Looking forward to that Batman/[BLACKOUT]Joker[/BLACKOUT] team-up next issue(s).

Oh and FYI:

Apparently the last page didn't have too big an impact on me. I can't remember what it was. :)

It was awesome.
I always wanted to see what Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Joker looked like before he became The Joker. We got glimpses of it in Zero year, but he was never shown clearly. I am delighted to have finally seen what he looks like and I hope to learn more about this version of Joker's backstory.

I've enjoyed the last 5-6 issues. Plus I've completely enjoyed the entire run so far

That is surprising, so far i have not seen one person who liked the current story.

I probably mainly dislike it since to me, the only batman will always be Bruce.
I dont know, the story seems so dull and boring, ever page drags itself out so slowly.
We dont have much on the aftermath to jokers latest scheme, we go right into gordon in a robot suit.
Mr Bloom is a interesting villian, but otherwise the whole story just feels boring.

I dunno not boring to me I'm enjoying it. Sorry sucks you guys don't, but I'm glad I am haha.
