    Cable & Deadpool

    Creative Team: Fabien Nicieza(writer) & Reilly Brown(artist)

Storyline Info: Cable has lost his powers, but found a way to replace them by artificial means. But some people now think that he's a bit too powerful, and his old friend Domino has been hired to take him out. And Deadpool? He's the Merc with the Mouth, need they say more?

Never once read this, but my interest in it based solely cause of Deadpool.

Is it actually good? Cause I've never liked Cable at all.

PS: Shouldn't this be ending soon, what with Cable joining Rogue's team soon?

It is quite good, and no, it actually won't be ending, even with Cable on the X-Men now.

Just started reading this title and I have to say, Deadpool's been added to my list of favourite X-characters. I've never really cared for him b/c I just assumed he was some boring silent type. He's never struck me as a joker-type character. This title is frigging hilarious. Cable and Deadpool make a good pair.

I'm up to issue 6 at the moment. Everyone's turned pink!

If you're not a fan of cable you will be after reading this book, the ONLY problem I have with the book is how some of the guest stars get written out of character sometimes.

I'm thinking about adding this to my pull list. From what I hear, one arc will be super awesome, and the next will be super lame.

This true? Is it worth it?

So far my only disappointment was the Blood of Apocalypse two issue arc.

Otherwise, I enjoy the entire run (though I need to get the first arc).

I agree. The latest arc wasn't the best. Though in general the book rocks. One of the best things at Marvel right now.

I always love how they usually open up with the first two pages filled with Deadpool fighting a group of unlucky ninjas,AIM etc.

The series as a whole is actually pretty good. Without Deadpool being in it, I can stil see it as being decent, which is hard for most duo team comics to do.

Are you freaking kidding me. BORING SILENT TYPE.

Deadpool is by far one of the most funniest characters to ever grace a MARVEL COMIC BOOK. TO GET THE FULL EFFECT, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BUY, BOTH LS AND HIS ONGOING. I HOPE IT COSTS YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND WADE HUNTS YOU DOWN, RIPS OUT YOUR INTESTINES AND HANGS YOU WITH THEM. jk

Wait why is Cable joining the X-Men again? I thought he intended to shut himself away from the rest of the world.

This is one of the best books Marvel's got going right now. I'd say that the "Blood of Apocalypse" prequel and a couple other arcs were kinda "meh", but the rest of the arcs range from solid to fantastic, IMO. "The Burnt Offering" is one of the best stories I've read in some time. I'm the first to admit that Nicieza's plotlines can be a bit convoluted, but he's actually managed to make both Cable and Deadpool relevant, interesting and entertaining characters. Pick it up from the beginning, you won't regret it.

    LOL.
That's what I thought before I read the title. And boy, am I glad to have done that. It completely proved me wrong. He's the new Spider-Man for me, only more violent, bloody, funny and serious all at the same time. :D

I think we might have to wait until Carey's run, or maybe he'll come in at the end of Milligan's, due to his whole involvement on how Apocalypse was able to be resurrected.

I've been on and off again with this book. I prefer Deadpool's solo series.

Wasnt there some legal trouble with having a comic named Deadpool? Same with Cable? So they found the loop hole to make Cable & Deadpool.

I'm up to issue 17 at the moment.

It's hilarious! Deadpool asking Sinister to use his bathroom and then they chat while Deadpool is in the bathroom. Bwahahahaha! [IMG]

Deadpool: "By any chance, can I use your bathroom? I mean, I haven't gone in like four days and--"
Sinister: "Down the hall, first door on your right."
Deadpool: "You're the best mad scientist ever!"

Sinister: "Forge, you say? The intuitive engineer?"
Deadpool: "Yeah. Anyway, he built this funky harness for when--"
    Sinister: "Wash your hands."

    LOL.

I thought the book slowed down around the "Dominus Objective" stuff. I jumped on board for "Burnt Offering" and the book hsn't been as exciting since.

I am adding this to my pull list. I've always loved DP.
