Who's Bob? *wonders if she missed something*

Oh yeah. :D Okay. I forgot about him. He's funny. I loved watching him try to fly the jet.

So, is there truth to something I read a while ago saying Nicieza is going to work with Dan Slott on an upcoming Deadpool/GLC crossover?

*looks back a page* Oh, righty-o then.

Just read this week's issue. I really wonder what happened to Nate. It really was surprising that Gambit and Sunfire gave him so much trouble but I guess they had to come off looking badass.

Huh? I know Cable's powerful and all, but it wouldn't be easy going up against a guy that can blow up anything he touches and another guy that can flay the skin off your body...

And then give those same two guys the element of surprise? I mean, c'mon, did you actually expect Cable to win?

I didn't expect him to win only because it was Gambit and Sunfire's time to shine.

Cable's always runnin his mouth about his powers and how they work now. I'd expect him to put them to good use in a fair fight against those two. And after reading this book, the fight that went down in X-Men 200 has a whole diff feel to it. Like Cable was just a distraction the whole time.

That's because Cable (apparently) had a whacked out plan in mind.

Yeah. God knows what was going on in his head. I was hoping that he and Wade teleported away but the stupid island only had enough juice for Deadpool :(

I haven't picked up the last two issues of C&D due to all this x-men tie in junk that im not reading. So when does C&D go back to telling there own storys insted of tieing in to the next x-men event?

Not sure.

And boy are you missin out :o
Im not im really confused while reading 3 issues ago with the first tie in, and fliped through the other 2 and just decided to skip. I don't care how funny deadpool is this time. But I don't like being confused.

You know Cable isn't really dead. There was an explosion, they just didn't show him getting out. He'll show up for the last minute save or something. :)

I hope that new artist stays on for longer. Nothing against the previous one, but it just didn't do it for me.

Gotta say, C&D has thankfully got a lot better.

SO, they killed cable...again
or so it would seem tam TAM tam!
i'm curiuous to see how it goes from here on, it's gonna be deadpool and bob versus gambit and sunfire.

until askani'son comes to the rescue of course.

Yeah, it's very likely that he'll be back at some point, but for now, I think he's for all important parts and purposes, he's supposed to be considered dead. The whole build up in the C&D issue was talking about sacrificing yourself to protect others/the future, and I think that's what we're supposed to be lead to believe he did with the explosion, sacrifice himself to stop Gambit and Sunfire from taking the info from his computers which would likely be very deadly the other X-Men.

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly that I hope Jon Malin stays around. Reilly Brown (the regular artist, who did have pages in this issue) fits the book, more or less in that his art is kinda neutral, but Malin's art definitely fits it.

It's funny. I think I will miss Cable more than Captain America. :(
