As much as I like that this book looks painted, all the guys look really ugly. :(

What a sort of sick glee these writers take in seeing what new and painful ways they can rake our heroes over the coals. :p

At least the girl doesn't look as creepy anymore. Well, at least in a few panels.

so...all that Messiah War and not even close to a resolution....sounds like filler.

Let's hear it for those of us who knew better than to read it. :D

Even if it is filler, I think so far it's been a pretty good read. And probably the best artwork out there right now.

“X-FORCE/CABLE: MESSIAH WAR,” PART 4

The sequel to 2007’s MESSIAH COMPLEX continues here! “Messiah War,” the much-anticipated sequel to “Messiah CompleX,” continues here! For the first time, Cable’s been separated from the girl he’s sworn to raise and protect — Hope, the so-called “Mutant Messiah” — and now she’s in the hands of his greatest enemy! Meanwhile, X-Force, sent by Cyclops on a desperate rescue mission to the deep future, scrambles to find their way out of a trap that will kill them in matter of hours. And if that’s not enough, an old — some might say ancient — enemy of the X-Men has reared his ugly head one last time…

i'm liking Warpath more and more. i think once he gets over his dear john issues he'll be a great leader

Warpath looks like an ape in those pages lol. I agree that he'd make a good leader though.

Good to see Bishop having to fight with himself a little bit. I know he's a cop and came from an F'd up future, but he was too good at staying in "Stone Cold Killer" mode

ya i didn't like that ethier but i do understand where he's coming from.... but damn to get in league with stryfe that is pretty bad

I still can't get over the fact that neither Cable or Bishop get that Hope doesn't have to be what she was in either of their futures. For time travelers, they have a very loose grasp on the concept. Hope could grow up to be a receptionist at the Daily Bugle lol. One with powers, but a receptionist nonetheless.

Maybe they're more concerned with her powers than who she is.

I think Cable grasps that, which is why he took her. He wants to give her a chance to grow up and choose her future, one that she wouldnt have had he left her to be killed by Bishop.

Messiah War has been great issue after great issue.

I love the Cable series too, probably one, if not my favorite, next to the new Deadpool solo series, books to come out lately. Nothing but great writing and very strange to amazing art.

i think what bishops doing.... might cause hope to start the war that ended up put mutants in camps

Same here. Would be pretty ironic considering the lengths he's been going to. He should know that changing the past wont necesarily change the future. Him coming back and stopping the X traitor was supposed to lead to a better future but stopping Xavier from killing off the X-men didnt do that

i would love to see how thing got so bad in the future.. like just let hope kill a million human and see how that goes
