You know, if they de-aged Nathan when he travels back to the past; I wouldn't even call BS(b/c it wouldn't make any sense). I'd just be happy to see him not looking like Fred Claus from the future.

how bout we off him and bring back Nate Grey instead....implanted with Cable's memories and experiences???? no? no?...yeah...prolly not. but i want him back anyways

Put the Deadpool cover up on the last page. Here's some more Deadpool stuff for the month of March:

That Thunderbolts cover is probably the most beautiful cover I have seen on any book in a very, very long time. DP actually looks pretty menacing there.

who are the thunderbolts nowadays anyways? are they no longer the masters of evil? or some other D list collection of bad guys masquerading as good guys

“WAITING FOR THE END OF THE WORLD,”CONCLUSION

In the present, Cyclops, Emma and Beast have been ambushed by Bishop and a nasty little surprise he’s smuggled into the X-Men HQ. Meanwhile, hundreds of years in the future, Cable realizes what the former X-Man has done to the planet -- all in an effort to make sure Cable and the four-year-old mutant messiah never, ever return to the present. Once again, the rules of the hunt have been completely rewritten, and the future of mutantkind has never looked more uncertain.

Little girl and her surrogate mother are looking alike and now dressing in the same clothes. I still cant shake the feeling that they are the same person

Can they kill off Bishop already or get rid of him. Really cant stand him. LMAO at Beast slamming him against the wall with that throw

Ha! Looks like Bishop forgot about Hank's healing factor.

If there's one thing that's disturbing me about Cable's story in the future, it's his narration boxes. They're all directed toward the little girl, and told in past tense. It gives me the feeling something bad might happen to Cable, or he'll end up very old very soon (telling Messiah stories from her childhood she might have long forgotten).

Weird thing is that Bishop chose to go physical with a telepath after broke away from her so easily...

Told you I never like the ability of telepathy, it never daws a definite line of its (in)capability.

Wow. Hank's head is really small. :p

yeah. its just his Bishop and Cable and inability to draw children that needs work...oh wait...that pretty much covers the cast of the book. Man, Bishop needs some redemption and FAST

and inability to draw children
It's funny. I've never seen an artist try so hard to be realistic, yet still draw children with giant cartoon heads.

Yeah yeah, double post. Sorry. Whatever.

I was looking back at Messiah CompleX, and I'm pretty convinced that the editors have absolutely no one in mind when it comes to the Messiah child's identity. Sure, she's a redhead with green eyes that once showed the Phoenix symbol in her eyes in Cable's solo series, but throughout Messiah CompleX, her eyes randomly switched between green and blue, and her hair was blonde until the final chapter. There was a point where I almost thought she was Layla Miller, because they were both blonde at the time, Layla's eyes suddenly became green in chapter ten, and they both have that thing where they only register as mutants part of the time (Layla fooled a guard in Bishop's future by pretending to be human until a mutant signal blipped briefly on the guy's detector, and everyone had a hard time finding Cable and the baby because her mutant signal completely dropped off the map sometimes).

It's like they're making it up as they go along. If this girl really does turn out to be Jean or something, I'll tell you right now that they didn't plan that from the beginning.

Yea I think they are doing all that to confuse us on purpose. Is that a good thing? Maybe not. But it makes it interesting for us to throw ideas out there. Maybe that is their intention?

Or maybe they have no further plan in mind for the child, just make it up as long as the story goes.

There is probably a debate going between the writers on whether the girl should be anyone.

I love his Cable. Im sad he's going to be shaving bc I liked the old man beard look

She was only blonde in New X-men 45 and X-Factor 26. Her other appearances in that arc had her hair colored reddish. Besides its not uncommon for newborns to be born with hair lighter than what it will end up being when they grow up. Its why babies who are born with what appears to be blonde hair end up having red or brown hair as they age. Im assuming thats what happened here with this kid

I've never picked this book up, but that preview looks cool. Bishop's section was very interesting; I liked Emma's tactics.

Is it worth digging up back issues to catch up?

Its the second best X-book after X-force. It rounds out my top 3 along with Uncanny X-men for my monthly reading. Id definetly recommend it. I usually do not like solo series but this one is really good

I'd say Cable is the strongest X-book, actually. I'm way behind on every other title, and I haven't read Legacy in a long time, but I was considering Cable and Legacy the two strongest-written in the first place, so.
