Given my opponents I cannot be too dissappointed.

Speed demon did not seem fast enough and was pretty weak, and I was not able to put one over on pheadrus who had done his research well. When I first read that speed demon's speed was 160 mph, I was thinking cars can go faster, this guy should have stuck to professional sports.

Heimdall I thought could have taken it but Nova just has better showings as Heimdall is a very underused character, plus darthphere did a good job.

Wolfesbane did not have a chance imho

I'm somewhat surprised Heimdall didn't win. Since this was Pre-Annihilation Nova, I remember all of Richard Ryder's appearances in New Warriors and his miniseries. He never stood out as someone who could take on an Asgardian. But, the same thing happened last season. The Asgardian's aren't well known, and I think they tend to get dismissed. In my mind, Heimdall would take Nova easily. But, Nova didn't fair too well the first season, if I remember right. I think voters are still thinking of Nova's potential, which he is finally starting to show in Annihilation. (The same thing happened season 1 with Scarlet Witch. She made it farther than she possibly should have due to Disassembled and House Of M...even though JH stressed it isn't that character.)

Thats a misconception stemming from his involvement with the New Warriors. Pretty much, Nova is capable of taking out most average Asgardians. And thats all Heimdall is, an average Asgardian. Though I think the match shouldve been closer.

aw come on man...you can't quit. You took a couple of tough losses, but it just goes to show you that you can win with an underdog. I'm sure you will have some matches where you're an underdog and now you know you can win if you debate hard enough.

Well I haven't even used my three star characters but they aren't well known and people won't vote for them but whatever. I know deep down Morph would've taken it in a halfbeat.

I always think of Sparta, who lost four of his characters the first week of Season 1. After that, he bounced back pretty good, and one of his characters was in it near the end.

And, like someone said, even if all your matches don't go your way, the person with the worst record at the end of Round 1 and the person with the worst record at the end of Round 2 both get a prize for having been served such bad defeat. So, even in defeat you can be victorious.

Anyway, you have two killer characters this week: Magnus and Armageddon from Exiles. Both can take their matches...even if you are battling my Ezekial. (From last season, I stunk when fighting Joseph and Magneto. I prayed I never would have to face them again in Season 2. I guess I should have added Magnus to that damn list!!!)

there's an old saying in poker. All you need to walk away with the prize is a chip and a chair.

Frankly you could lose all but one character in the first round and ten proceed to win the whole thing with that ONE character. That's all it takes...
