Official Contest of Marvels II Discussion Thread

I saw the rebuttals to my stuff and that voting hadn't begun yet, so I replied. If there's a problem with it then I'll edit them.

I was wondering if anyone would like to give me a hand with some of the little things with this contest. What I mainly need is someone who could go through who's done their debates by Sunday and who hasn't. Then, for those who haven't, if they would like to send a nice PM letting them know they have less than 48 hours left to debate which characters.

If someone wants to do this, I only stress a couple things: First, let them know which characters in which threads the person needs to debate; second, and more important, I want the PMs to be professional. Nothing like, "Hey idiot, you haven't debated your matches." Even if we know it's meant in humor, I want everything in relaying messages to be real respectful. Just a friendly reminder, basically.

Thanks, Hellstormer. I appreciate that; but, Hippy Fascist PMed me pretty much right after I posted that. So, I hooked him up with that responsibility.

I've always thought they should have two threads on The Hype. "The best Thread of the week," and "The Worst Thread of the Week." It would work in a simple way: Everyone could PM the person who put up the thread if they believe a thread gets started that fit into that category. Then, once the week is over, he/she posts the threads in the running. Which ever one gets voted by the public most, wins (or looses) for that week.

Yeah, when I read that he could live with a few innocent people getting killed, I stopped reading anything else he had to say.

I was just reading about Jeffrey Skilling's 24 year conviction for his involvement with the whole Enron fiasco, and everytime I think about Kenneth Lay, it pisses me off. The idea that a judge had him exonerated of his conviction after his death because of his inability to not appeal his verdict is just wrong on so many levels. Plus, the fact that he died so quickly after this conviction, knowing how well connected he is the so many higher-ups in the government has me willing to believe any conspiracy theory that he's now in a foreign country living off the money he stole.

Oh man! I was just looking at the Best Buy ad for this week, and tomorrow, Ultimate Alliance comes out for the X-Box 360. I'm going to be dying to get off work and picking that one up. I noticed the same day, DC's Justice League Heroes comes out, too. But, it looks like it will only be on the older systems. I hate that many of the new games don't get the special 360 treatment. (Or, at least, they can make it the same game for the same damn price, and make it available for that system without having to get a special X-Box download.)

every review I've read says the graphics are piss poor, like sub old x-box bad ...still gonna buy it though

No, we were just gunning for each other and he managed to get more votes up than I could. Sad thing is that there was one vote that I could have had, but the guy didn't get online in time to vote that would have tied it up. And then another guy wanted to vote with me but didn't think I had enough votes up and didn't want to stick out, so he voted with Brodie to blend in. If those two would have voted right, I'd still be in right now It was the first time in the game that I didn't have control
