Ok, I have a rant that has nothing to do with comics. Tuesday was a good day for me. I was sitting at this computer when I saw that Jerry Falwell died. Usually, death is a sad event; but, when I read that I thought, "Couldn't have happened to a better man." This self-proclaimed Dr. (he didn't earn the name Dr. Jerry Falwell, he was given honorary doctorates from a couple uncredited colleges and called himself Dr. after that) was one of the most vile, wicked men to get on the airwaves and preach his message of hatred to the mindless masses. He made it his life's ambition to spread this message of hatred to anyone who didn't fit into his lifestyle, constantly damning gays, women's and people's rights activists, and even all those died on 9/11. (He claimed 9/11 was God's punishment for all the evil associated with gays, abortion, and various groups, like the ACLU.) What maddens me most is the people coming out saying what a great man he was, even those who fought against Jerry Falwell and his message of hatred. If there truly is a God and there is a Hell that this vile man described, he should be down there burning for all his hateful remarks and twisted ideas over the years.

I can get to voting tonight, but if people are waiting to start the next round go ahead, I know in my matches my personal vote won't matter, and with 7 votes there are no tie breakers for me to decide.

Sorry I haven't voted but I haven't gotten the ability to sit down for any decent length of time to be able to read and vote.

Hippy probably going to get some votes in before my day at work is over. There are two battles that are very close and deserve to get as many votes as possible concerning them both: Hercules vs. Nimrod and the rematch of Her vs. Kurse. If Hippy ties either of them up, I'll wait for Prime's votes for the tiebreaker. If Hippy's votes give each match a two point edge, then I don't think we'll get anymore votes in, and waiting won't be necessary. All the other matches are pretty much decided.

Sorry about forgetting about posting results and upcoming battles. I probably won't get to post the battles until tomorrow, unless someone else has a chance to quickly get them up.

BTW, the location was suppose to be the N-Zone...but, that's just the Ultimate version of the Negative Zone, which we've already had. So, we'll just go to the next location, the X-Mansion. Nobody will be at the mansion, but all the usual stuff will be included, like Danger Room, Cerebro, Blackbird, ect... This should be fun...I can't even remember which characters are fighting this week. I'm sure someone will have a nice advantage.

LOCATION: X-Mansion

Blueprints for the newly-rebuilt mansion were given in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: X-Men 2004.
The X-Mansion is in the shape of an X. In the middle of the main courtyard is the Phoenix Memorial Statue, dedicated to the memory of Jean Grey. Notable rooms include the Danger Room and a room containing Cerebro. The Headmasters Office of Cyclops and Emma Frost is on the top floor. The basketball court is a popular hang-out; it was the site of a well-known basketball game in X-Men v2 #4 (January 1992) in which the X-Men used their mutant powers. Directly below the basketball court is the hangar, which houses many transportation vehicles, as well as aircraft such as the X-Men Blackbird.
