Dude I was totally thinking of someone else...Ben Lyons. Jeffrey is good yes but Ben Lyons is a little idiot but he does have a Lyons den too. I guess Jeffrey is his father.

That's right they're father/son! Jeffrey used review films on PBS on a show called "Sneak Previews" in the 80's. Now he pretty much does the same thing in a show called "Reel Talk" with a female critic I'm not familiar with. She's cute though!

Here in NY the newspaper METRO gave a review, 4 stars out of 5. basically saying its good but not great.

all these critics who say tdk is taking itself too seriously and is trying to be grim because its "fashionable" are ****ing idiots and no it isnt a matter of opinion.

In fact Id say the fashionable thing to do for the majority of hollywood films is to make them campy. We all saw what happened to Hulk. There is an overwhelming voice for camp than for gritty fiction. Its the entire status quo really, as demonstrated by the elitists trying to put this film "in its place".

I love Spider-Man 2, which is RT's best superhero movie ever and ended with 8.2 and 93% on RT. Looks like TDK is going to beat it!

And on a side note, I do hope TDK beats the living crap out of the records that SM3 set.

I'm staying out of it. Doesn't make any difference to me if he's one of few who can't enjoy a great film. I really don't care at this point.

When Edelstein(sp.) said that critics, like himself, are here to give a "much-needed perspective on blockbusters like The Dark Knight", I honestly have no idea what kind of POV of The Dark Knight he was trying to show us in his review. From the look of it, he really just watched the movie at face value, and even then that's a big stretch. Sounds like he didn't even pick up on what Nolan was trying to do.

Oh lord would you look at this! Now, TDK is at 93% over at rotten... Who was it that said they didn't believe this movie would go up that high??? Some of you didn't believe it, so dont deny it!.... Still dont believe this movie will round up somewhere between 95-100%!!!??? You wait and see, I'll show ya!
