Official Cyclops/marsden Thread

They didn't respect those actors/actresses enough to explore their characters, but I'm under the impression that they didn't understand enough about XMen world and Singer's two X Men movies from the beginning, let alone the true potential of these superhero figures.
I think they probably asked Marvel who is the most popular character in X Men world and promptly decided to ignore everything else except Logan. (Though Strom got a bigger role but she still didn't have better lines in X3.)
Maybe it's a good thing they left out Gambit in X3, who knows what they would do to his character if he was presented in it? No reason to let them mess up one more X Men hero.

Although, I heard a rumor that the writers were going to throw in a premonition-like dream sequence where Logan is at Alkali Lake when Jean kills Scott. And after that, Logan's gonna put his hand up in the air and scream, "Touchdown!" Then it's going to be wrapped up with a large scale musical number where Logan dances around slicing people up and saying the word "Bub" over and over again and finishing with a shot of the earth exploding.

Even though Rouge got screwed, they opened the door for her to potentially have an expanded role in the next film (if they have one). The cure could backfire and instead of supressing her powers, she gains some like flight or superstrength perhaps ?!

Cyclops (even though they didn't show his death on screen) would be a little bit tougher. IT was funny, I met this guy today and we both mentioned how x3 was garbage haha.

I love cyclops. I have huge respect for James Marsden because despite a tiny role i do think he did a good job acting wise. The fact that he couldnt do much is just the writers fault and i hope they see the error of their ways! I hope emma storm can be in a following xmen for a romance maybe she was always cool in the comics.

Sadly these writers took the romance part and twisted it into the worst thing that could have happened to the movie.

In their mind the Wolverine just had to have the huge boy/girl scene - and they built the whole movie around it, twisted the meaning in the progress and destroyed the story.

James is also a sweetheart in the Superman Returns DVD extras. He joked around and was very charming. Compared to him, Brandon Routh is a plank. One of my favourite moments is when James is talking to the documentary people and he's getting ready to film the scenes where The Gertrude sinking.
"They're gonna call us back for reshoots because we're not wet enough".

James is such a sweetie. I watched those 2 dvd extras and you see the stuntman falling back and cut to james smiling "Its not me".
I love those pics of james and famke. They look like their having fun And i think despite a tiny role, james did act well in his scenes. I felt bad for him.
