Something that concerns me...

I recently stopped by imdb to look at their listings for X3 and I found it quite disturbing that they listed the main cast...and Marsden isn't part of it. He's listed several notches down on the "other cast members" section. You guys should go check it out. If it means something, it could be looked at as being more evidence that Cyclops' role is very small in the film.

How can you have a movie about the Phoenix saga without Cyclops????

Easy, they'll center it on Wolverine and have Jean be the queen of his harem, which will include Storm, Jubilee, Rogue, Shadowcat and Moira, among others.

Yeah, that's true. I know they have f***ed up info sometimes. They once had Adam Sandler listed as a guest star on Buffy the Vampire Slayer lol but on stuff where they are merely listing the confirmed cast, they're usually legit. It's the "crazy casting rumors" that i've noticed they have trouble with sometimes.

Well I think they rationlized it by saying it was because the Phoenix is only one aspect of the movie, and it's not the main story. Or some such nonsence.

How can you have a movie about the Phoenix saga without Cyclops????

That's just a challenge for them, not to worry though. Putting their heads together I'm sure they'll find a way. [Ions is amused even as the idea annoys him] Anyway, moving on..

I think it is also interesting that Cyclops has never been the #2 X-man in the movie-verse the way he is in the comics. But do you really think they will kill him??

hi, kinda new to this particular forum, but are ya'll saying that probably the most important x-man in the comics, is actually not playing a big part in the movie?
Cyke should be getting way more screen time than Storm. Yet Halle berry has a main part? what the heck?

We're all speculating at this point SuGar, but there are rumors that Storm does in fact have a bigger role this time around (somewhat supported by some interviews with the writers and director) and we're still waiting to see what happens to Cyclops (according to an old draft he gets killed off very early in the movie).

I understand why Storm is popular and respected, but why are there so many...Storm fanboys here on this forum. You get so many Strom supporters with their little Storm avatatrs, and yet you dont' get one guy who has a 'Cyclops' inspired screen name nor avatar.

And I'm talking about a real Cyclops fan. I dont' have one because I'm not a true fan of Cykes, but I'm so what dissapointed by the lack of support for the character. Very dissapointed....It's funny, I'm not a Cykes Head, and yet I'm his biggest supporters here. It's funny.

IF X3 turns out to be the "Halle Berry and Friends" movie, I'll bash it to no end!

Hehehe, Kiwi Land.
Look on the bright side, only a few characters who have their own threads have them last as well as Cyclops, only Storm and Gambit have really taken off. This thread has lasted better than other characters.
And I'll keep posting here(can't see you or a few others stop posting here), so we can keep at it hoping Cyclops/James gets their dues.

LOL...it's one of those things where people would either go:

"5000! that's amazing"

or

"5000...that's sad."

I guess it depends on the rate on many posts that you'll generate within a certain time span too. If I got 5000, and it took me 2 years, then that's okay. If it was only 6 months, somebody needs to get laid
