Not all of us obsess over Halle's hair. I for one am starting to get sick over the unnecessary emphasis it's gotten as of late.

As for Cyke. I've felt kind of depressed whenever I think about him ever since the AICN review. If there's one thing I hope has changed for the better since then its the treatment he's getting.

I think the main reason people haven't been commenting on the thread is that there's simply no news of any kind about the character (until today). There's only so many times one can say that one doesn't want to see the character die.

As for the various 'hair' posts, I've always been utterly baffled by the endless arguments/discussions about hair whether it's Halle's wig or Colin Farrell's dye-job in Stone's horrible Alexander. Good God, aren't there better bloody things to talk about? But no! It's hair, accents, uniforms ...

I'm a little more concerned about the huge cast of characters, and whether this film will hang together or sink under its own weight. I don't give a damn about Storm's latest wig. Those kinds of details don't make or break a movie. Coherent plot, decent direction, and good acting do.

In any case, I sure as hell hope the rumor is true, and Cyclops is involved in the recovery of Phoenix/Dark Phoenix, and they finally give him a good leadership role.

Okay, she's not and all, but Cyclops as a character deserves more than Storm in this series.

Just joking people! I would actually like to have Kitty kick the bucket. Seriously.

I'd like to say that I never really cared for Cyclops until I saw Marsden playing him in X1. He showed me the error of my unappreciation for the character. I hope he gets his time to shine in X3.

I want to see him devastated over the loss of the love of his life, and guilt-ridden over inadvertedly causing her death because his beams cracked the dam. But then, when the ***** goes down, I want to see him get his ***** together and lead the X-MEN in battle, and be the one to save their asses for a change instead of Wolverine. I want to see him taking out Sentinels with ease, and take his visor off to just let loose on Juggernaut full force. And if Xavier dies, I want to see Cyclops take over his role and "take care of them", just as he promised Xavier he would do in X1.

What I don't want to see Cyclops do is die

I know. I worry, too, that it's just a slightly expanded role ending with the same result, instead of a genuinely expanded one. We can hope.
