^ I agree. There are enough characters and stories to just continue the series. Obviously, with a different creative team. A revamp, not a reboot.

They have so many bots to choose from especially from the animated movie and season 3 G1. I really like the opening shot in DOTM and would like to see some more Space/Cybertron type stuff.

Seeing Cybertron over earth made me think how epic Unicron would have been.

I agree it doesnt have to be rebooted. Would like to see a Director who is a fan of Transformers. Less human stuff would be awesome.

Please, no JJ Abrams. You may all rejoice in his direction of no potty humour, but we'll get more lens flares than a lightbuld on crack. And with the amount of joints and moveable parts these robots have, I shutter to think of how'd they look...........no pun intended.

No high class director is going to do this. If this thing breaks 1 billion worldwide Bay will be back. I am willing to bet. It may be after another movie of his but he will come back and do a 4th if this one banks huge.

They don't have to reboot it. Just resurrect Megatron as Galvatron, Starscream as Cyclonus and Soundwave as Scourge.

They could do Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Grimlock,Galvatron and Unicron in 4.

Possibly. But IMO, the TFTM/Season 3 Decepticons were pretty lackluster compared to the Season 1/2 guys. Plus, I'm not really sure if Unicron can properly be adapted for live-action.

I think somebody could pull off a reboot without making it feel redundant. For starters, I would say just skip all of the arrival stuff and jump right into the action.

Either way, I just hope they retain Peter Cullen as Optimus. As well as maybe giving Frank Welker the chance to voice Megatron in live action using his updated take on the voice from 'Prime'.

Without suspense what's the point of an action scene? You don't care about the outcome and it's not a thrilling experience.

Then the action scenes you don't care about go on for over 45 minutes. lol. It's not entertainment it's just an assault of boring noise.

For YOU. For ME, I found it was very suspenseful. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And I heard many gasps from the audience throughtout the entirety of the movie.

I think people should start watching movies while in a good mood instead of with their arms crossed.

These movies are not very well made. They are also extremely cheesy. That said, I find them very entertaining. If you don't like them, thats fine, but there are plenty of people who enjoy these films that REALIZE they aren't masterpieces.

Yeah but these flicks dont stick with the full story line from the series. Those characters in TFTM could be handled well. I would like to see someone take the risk of Unicron.

SO were Bay's Transformers films. And just because a G1 based game was CRITICALLY successful, doesn't mean a G1 based movie would be. Just look at all the ****** video game based movies. Face it, the source material just isn't that great. I love the shows and I enjoy the movies, but neither are great works of art. They are both pretty bad, but very entertaining.

My biggest complaint with Bay is that he just doesnt give a **** about the actual Transformers getting screen time. I can live with the humor. But Im seeing these films for the bots. They are all entertaining films on some level. Just balance the screen time with humans and bots better.

Megatron pushes Starscream around like this a few times in ROTF, but their relationship is NOTHING like it is in the show lol

Nah, it's just the difference between a labor of love and being a hired gun. The creators of War for Cybertron respected G1 and wanted to do it justice. and guess what it's by far the best Transformer video game.
