The Avengers Official Easter Egg/Reference Thread

Posted this in the Hulk thread but for those who dont check it -

When Tony and Bruce are talking and the screen is between them, Bruce's reflection is that of Hulks face, not his own. Even with the green tinge! Its so subtle..so much so that I was told im wrong lol..but it's there. Woo, first person in the world to notice it! :woot:
It's not the first time it's been suggested.

That's not Hulks face, not even close its just Ruffalos reflection on the screen. RDJ's face is reflected when the camera is close on his face and it has the same green tint as Ruffalos.

Guess I'll have to wait til the blu-ray screencaps to be proven right :woot: idk why everyones so against this..the reflection was a wider more angular and green tinted glassless face..even with a more ''grinch-like" mouth..Tony's reflection was normal. Of course, this was very fast so I could be mistaken and i'll fully admit it if I am when the time comes but I doubt any of you will if im right lol.

edit - just found a pirate video to help me back up my point but obv no screencaps can be taken because it is pirated.

because you're seeing things.. no one would be against it, if it were true..

I'm guna give up talking about this cos a mod just deleted my past 2 posts about this so its kinda pointless. I though I saw it, you though you didn't..can this be left til September now?

edit - and iv said about 10x that I could be wrong so calm down guys..

I would, because stuff like that is tacky. We get it, Bruce Banner has an alter ego/shadowy reflection. Why break the reality of the film to add such a heavy handed visual statement?

Thankfully I'm pretty confident there is no Hulk reflection.

I keep reading about Wakanda references. I must have missed them because I don't recall any. Can someone tell me what references? Thanks

ok i'm not sure about this one, but i've seen the movie 3 times and i've thought the same everytime:

when stark tower is hit hard at the end and the first letting falls off the building. i was certain it was the A. at the end, the A is the only letter still standing. is this a blooper, did i see the wrong letter? did anyone else think this?

also, the cellist in portland coulson was dating, is that a reference to any characters or anything?

also, when the big fish/acanti looking thing burst through that building in the rubble at the end and skids to a stop, it first destroys a pillar/display with something on the middle of it. was that object that was on the pedestal/pillar thingy any kind of importance?

The "R K" falls first, then Loki falls into the "S T". The A never falls

ok, i mustve mistaken the R for the A then

I thought the first letter that feel was the A at first also. But after yester day I was like thats not the A I bet it's the K. I didn't think about it being the R.

I saw The Avengers again yesterday and I'm pretty sure that the K is what fell first.

Dunno about the cellist thing....I've wondered that myself. Probably nothing. But it's interesting to point out that Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, played the cello on a coupla occasions. And everybody knows that Wanda was the main squeeze of Vision. Which adds fuel to the fire of the Vision-aries out there who insist that Coulson is/becomes Vision.

i saw the movie again yesterday and looked for the hulk reflection. unless the Hulk is also wearing glasses its definitely just Banner

I think I saw Venom in the reflection of the reflection of Banner's eye.

I believe that was destroyed earlier in the fight on the outside.

it was inside a building right?

The building it comes crashing through looked like Grand Central Station and a tower on the inside with a clock on it gets destroyed.

The two crows when Thor and Loki and talking.

thanks. i think that's what i was talking about

Wanda makes more sense than Marvel's other cellist, Katherine Bishop aka Hawkeye.

Im not sure if this is right or not but when Stark gets the packet from Phil, and makes the screens bigger (the ones with Thor Cap and Hulk and the Cube), on the cube one after stark reaches in and grabbes it, in the top right hand corner (I think) is a massive crater? Hole? Something. It looked deep and huge, at first I thought it could be the crater thor's hammer landed in but it was to big. Was it maybe a Wakanda mining hole... Idk just thinking, let me know.
