I'm glad it seems like peters getting a bigger part this Volume. I don't think Fugitives he ever got the front header like this. And his storyline sounds cooler and cooler. I am also liking Matts and Samuels storylines, but Claires sounds the worst out of the bunch. Is this going to be her dealing with college the entire Volume? :wow:

BUMP!

Here's the episode thread for this week. lol

I was looking , lol.

So it looks like Sylar prevented Matt from getting killed. It looks like Sylar is visceral and not an imagination of matt's

That was a great scene, great sonic affects, her power's pretty sweet!!!:awesome::up:

Deanna Bray sure looking good :)

that was a really good episode , one of the best.

So far... this season has started out great... I hope it stays this way

The Gretchen girl is starting to remind me a little bit of Tara.

I love this show, I always have mind you, but last night reminded me why i love it. It was just all around awesome! Peter is amazing and I want to know about the INK powers. Sylar just chews up scenery and Parkman is becomming fantastic. Claire still needs to die though, too bad they cant do that to her.

Yes, Peters storyline was just outstanding. I am really enjoying his character this year. I loved his interactions with Emma and Samuel. Best of all, they didn't drop his partner still that's great. Mattlers storyline is still amusing. Claires was prob the weakest link, a lot of her scenes were useless. They could have just switched back and fourth from Peter to Mattler, it would have been much better. Good episode though.

so far this season seems alot more focused and consistent than the last two, but there is something i dont get, if syler can turn matts powers against him, couldnt he just force matt to take him to his body?

I think that's where it will eventually lead to--a struggle between Matt and Sylar for Matt's body. For now, Sylar is only capable of creating illusions for his host. He's growing into Matt's powers fast though.

I really like the focus this season is taking, stepping back from the huge goverment conspiracies and far-fetched plots to create a more intimate (like season one) portrayal of simple human beings trying to find a place in the world, and manage their powers. Peter's story is great this season, I'm glad he's back to something focussed and productive. I was worried about how they would handle the Sylar/Matt story, but this episode hilighted exactly how good the interaction between the two characters can be, I'm really looking forward to it's progression. Whilst Robert Knepper is a great actor, I was slightly worried about how he'd jump from Prison Break to Heroes and if he'd fit into the story, but again I'm very happy that his character is being handled with a slight ambiguity. His scenes with Peter especially were great to watch. Claire's story still needs a lot of work, and the father/daughter scenes between her and HRG are slightly more disturbing giving her age now, but other than that the season's coming together well. Reminds me of Season 1, which is definitely a good thing.

I really like the deaf woman who can see sound. I can't even remember the last time we had a new hero (start of volume 3?).

Umm is it just me or is matt's "sylar" just his guilty conscious that took the form of sylar and not really sylar? That's what I've understood so far.

It could be that, but the way I understand it, Sylar picked up on some of Matt's powers when Matt entered Sylar's brain, and that caused Sylar's consciousness to get sucked into Matt's head after Matt yanked these thoughts out of Sylar's brain.

It also seems that Sylar is understanding more and more of Matt's abilities as time goes on, as evidenced by the "ticking clock" sounds that would come up, when Matt acknowledged as real something that was a Sylar illusion.

Yea that could be it too.....only time will tell

Glad we got confirmation on Samuels powers pretty quickly to. I gotta say all this stuff with the ink is really kool and does make sense since he can manipulate earth and tattoo ink is very heavy in iron. I gotta say I was expecting him have powers like of hypnosis or something similar considering the info we had pre-season. Cant wait for his grand scheme come to light. Hopefully this will be a good season well see though. On another note exactly what can deafchick do with her powers?? Just like that Doctor said Synthistesia (sp) is an often occurence. How is a deaf girl seeing sounds going to effect the overall story? Shell have some place to fit in the scheme of things soon enough probably like Micah in season 1 and Mayas intended story in season 2.

Emma's ability allows her to play the cello by looking at the pretty colors when the strings vibrate. Seems pretty useless. :oldrazz:

I wonder why Samuel created the compass tattoo on Peter's arm and if Peter mimicked his power when they shook hands. Plain ol' *****ebaggery to ruin the lady's party by sinking the house because she wouldnt let you in.

Can someone better explain Lydia's power? I read that shes an empath but I dont know how that extends to the tattoos or how the ink Samuel places in her skin transforms into the faces of people.

It's my opinion of the episode, I wanted to express it, but have no further details to give. This week was a very meh episode.
