Bad Ass Aquaman is what's saving this book (and possibly the New 52) for me.

Aquaman has had one scene of badassery in this book. Definitely not enough for me to justify buying the book just for him.

I'm glad the first arc is ending. I can drop the book and stop paying $4 for a book that I really don't look forward to each month. If I hear that it gets better during the present day stories, I'll probably pick up the trades.
