I can't say I'd mind if Wiccan became the new Sorcerer Supreme. I like the character and we're probably never gonna get another Young Avengers ongoing. Might as well use him. did any of you guys see the cover for the Initiative #25. I'm guessing the whole Sorcerer Supreme thing isn't going to work out for the Hood.

I wish the Initiative had as many people reading it as New Avengers does. I didn't realize how cool Taskmaster was till I started reading the Initiative.

So, from what I can tell, it looks like Norman's big revamp for the Initiative will be to integrate the Hood's villain army with it. Taskmaster will then be training villains so that Osborn can do like he did with Man Mountain Marko and place them in key positions within government agencies. Or maybe he'll keep the team idea and have the villains form Dark Avengers-esque teams for every state.

Presumably, those people notice it and then look at the Dark Avengers and go, "Meh, it'll probably work out for the best."

Whoever had the bright idea to have Taskmaster wear his older, crappier costume deserves a kick in the nuts.

And what was the logic behind the shield and sword? That Taskie decided that carrying around a lot of crap was somehow better than his awesome wrist-mounted shield-generating doohickey. That thing could even generate "webbing" like Spidey's which was awesome.

What the hell?

Yeah, to be honest, the old costume's not too bad except for the cape. But losing that holo-weapon/shield generator was a real shame. Brilliant idea, weighing himself down with half a dozen weapons when that one device could've done it all.

I like his current costume. I like capes. I just wish he had boots that don't make me think he's gonna go to the disco. any character who still has boots like those need to update.

Okay, after having read it, I have to be the bigger person here and admit that Bendis' rationale for having Strange not be the Sorcerer Supreme anymore is actually not the completely ******ed bull**** nonsense cockdickery that I expected.

On the other hand, him propagating the internet-propagated utter myth that Dr. Doom has anything resembling the skill or the credentials for the role is...less good. And now this **** is canon. Thanks Bendis. Thanks, internet. At some point I suppose I will have to accept that Doom just somehow magically funny: LAWL) became a good magician at some point in recent continuity instead of the guy who had zero, count them zero, I reiterate zero success rate with anything remotely mystical he has ever done in his life.

I agree with you about Wiccan. He was my favorite Young Avenger and it was nice seeing him again. I'd love for him to be the new Sorceror if it menat he would be sticking around.
